Ok, there was a bit of confusion, it turns out he did win the bid, I had tried to sell the same item before and it was unsold, but on the second attempt this person bidded. And I sent off the item before I received payment. Does this change anything, and is there now anything I can do?

I have a small dilemma,I was in a hurry and I foolishly posted a package to a customer before he had payed, assuming that he would be making the payment soon through paypal. Anyway, it turns out that for some reason even though initially my item sold, not it is listed as unsold, I do not know why this is, I have messaged the eBayer and have got no response, I told him that there was a mistake with paypal and I thought he had payed and posted the package,I hope that he will either paypal me the money for the item or post it back for which i have offered to pay for postage , but if he keeps the item and does not pay, is there anything i can do?Other than leave negative feedback obviously. . . Appreciate any help.
