Same here man, I really struggled with running in the past. That's why i like Nike+, getting updates as to your speed and how long you've got left makes it interesting I think. (I think he meant 6-8K).

Have you done your first run with the sensor? I'd just take it from there really, my first run I did was half an hour and I did just under 6K doing K's in about 5"20 which is OK as a starting point. Just trying to get quicker really.

Shit mate. Getting robbed when you're of uni age isn't cool. Although, nobody has ever 'COME AT ME BRO' with a knife before so I don't feel I can say I would have acted differently. I like to think I would have punched up the two youts, moved everyone off the bus including the driver, tie the youts to the front of the bus and drive through their ends banging out 'YOU AINT A KILLER' by Big Pun as a message to the masses.

Epic. / Best I had in Southampton was £1 a drink nights or QUADS night at Jesters where for £2 you could get 4 shots of anything topped up with anything you want (4 shots of whisky topped up with a pint FTW). Good times.

Not me, but my little brother got his bike taken off him in the park once. He was like 9/10 and a group of 5 16/17 year olds came over when he fell off his bike going over some little bumpy track and one of them scooped up the bike (which looked like a crusty the clown bike under his arms one would imagine) and breezed off. One part time police man bought my brother home and he was crying. The rage I felt that day still consumes me.

I've started running outdoors now as opposed to treadmill stuff and it's working much better - enjoying it a lot more. I started just doing a 30 minute run and did 5.9K, now I'm running 6K in under 30 minutes and finding it a lot easier. I'm going to try and get my 1K splits down to 4'50 from 5 minutes and then up it to 7K. Feeling good, Nike+ is a real motivation, I love seeing all the stats etc and having the prompts as to how far I've run etc.

Even when adding other sauces/marinades etc you don't start off with the good ol' fashioned salt and pepper? Bumber. Thought that was a standard base for ALL.

Anyone got a ink to some good cheapish running trainers? Currently running in my 10 year old black leather 90's which are half a size on the small side and want something a little more built for the cause. (I tried sports direct and was distinctly uninspired...I'm looking for something no more than 50 quid really).

My brother sounds like he's having a whale of time up in Notts (Trent) in his Freshers week. I'm a bit jealous. Realised yesterday it was like 8 years ago that I started uni. Fucking hell.
