I put Eduardo's question on a few other not-so-black orientated forums and got some very interesting results.Seems that it is not so clear cut as Eduardo put it, but I still side with the general sentiment of his argument. -
Okay the sooner we all do a simple SWOT analysis of grime the sooner we can all move onStrengths - Some decent bars from time to timeWeaknesses - Ahem..Threats - Every musical genre everOpportunities - Jay-Z headlined Glasston-berry innit? Must mean rap is on the rise in the UK!!!!LOL.This guy cracks me up.

Yeah lol £17.30 coach, gotta get up to Victoria at 5:15 though, some f*ckery 5 hour journey. You're gonna do what?Gonna do American Studies/Literature with Creative Writing for 3 years then a Law conversion course.Sounds like a good plan. Just be aware that by then, the elitism stakes are gonna have moved to another level. I don't mean to add pressure, but you really need to work like a c*nt and get a first class degree. Take it from someone who knows how the legal profession works.

It doesn't mean anything for "black music" per se, because black musicians have been making hits for years in the UK...I'm a bit disappointed however, that the tune does not really represent grime, and I believe deep down Wiley knows this. He's basically vocalled a popular electro beat. Bless Beats should take as much praise.Dizzee is on another plane to Wiley still, but hopefully Wiley can use this push to promote REAL GRIME to the mainstream. However, I really doubt that the content of grime will go down well and will just end up the topic of chat shows about black people and gun crime, or even worse being the subject of ridicule on topical quizzes like 8 out of 10 cats.

You're gonna do what?

It was probably put forward by the girl's defence (Chelsea) that the knife wasn't hers, and that she felt she would be stabbed herself because the two girls were having a scuffle that was so volatile, anything could have happened, in other words it was either her or the other girl. They probably backed this argument based on the dead girl's propensity to do such a thing (her nickname was "pitbull" for instance, which doesn't indicate an angel) and perhaps other things she's done/said etc. All this lead the jury to believe that it actually was an act of survival. To me that is ridiculous. Unless they come to me and say, "Boom, this kitchen knife set from Sian's yard usually holds 5 knives. As you can see, this knife is the missing knife" I aint having that.Boy, something really wrong has happened there. I dont want to call it racism, but this seems like a miscarriage to me. Man got life and he never took someones life, proven. Thats badmindThat's for the jury to decide. And yes, there are numerous instabilities with jury trials, but that's how the criminal justice system has worked for centuries. Also, don't take what I said as gospel. The defence would have been ten times more sophisticated and rational than the way I put it. I just tried to bring it low because I couldn't be bothered to type longness. Go and see a trial if you want to see how it works.Self defence is an absolute defence that if proven beyond reasonable doubt, will result in acquittal.Incidentally, I urge any doubter of the criminal justice system to actually go and watch a serious murder trial if possible. I guarantee you you will leave having more faith in the system. It's not about being ignorant of the democratic structures that keep the law in place. Believe you me, the judiciary and judicial system is FAR more open than the system of parliamentary democracy.

There was another high-profile stabbing this year of a white man, too. The murder of Harry Potter "star" Robert Knox. -
I'VE JUST STRUCK GOLD - JOBSEEKERS WITH CRBs HOLLA AT ME NOW
That's That Kid replied to Mr. Martinez's topic in Whatever
You have a CRB for every position requiring one that you apply for...so you can't *have* a CRB to keep for your own use at every different job.Even if you had one only a week prior. -
I read the case. The girl seems to have been acquitted on the absolute defence of self-defence. Like it or lump it...it's correct that she's free.

I would but with man like Tipper around (liberal grandads) you can't do sh*t without a song and dance being created.
