It's certainly a flawed negotiation of evolutionary-instinct to the present day world, but you say it like they're inherently defective, when it's simply not the case at all. It's just the nature of sexual dynamics. Women who want to tame their aggressive bad boy and settle down with him aren't 'brainwashed by society', though prevailing attitudes do play a part. They're clumsily obeying their instinct to seek an alpha male and breed with him. Many do mistake brutish aggression with strength, or promiscuity with true value, but my point is that this irrationality stems from the natural predeliction towards alpha male traits. Modern men do need to act with more sexual responsibility, especially in an age of spiralling population and STIs. I just thought it was curious how you blame society for the phenomenon you're lamenting, when it springs from our very basic nature as mammals.
