Interesting as to what will happen after this fight, Martinez has pretty much exhausted his list of names at MW that he is willing to fight, he is 37 now and looking for a big name and a payday, the likes of Gennadiy Golovkin and Dimitri Pirog as good as they may be, simply aren't big enough draws.
Martinez is likely to want to put on a show against the much more physical macklin in the hopes of securing a big fight as his next bout, but I expect Macklin to make it scrappy and difficult, similar to Barker
Martinez is probably one of the most exciting fighters to watch in the sport but he is really going to have to move up in weight if he wants to fight a 'big name', Pacquiao and Mayweather seem reluctant to make the jump to 160, or to even take him up on his offer of him draining to 150, which at his age will be unwise.
