BlackaDaBerry Posted June 19, 2007 Report Share Posted June 19, 2007 Do you reckon they could just be tuned in to another frequency..You have to think....What is it that makes them hear voices or imagine them...everybody thinks they're mad when they say they can hear voices but it could just be that nobody understands them.They could be talking to Jesus or God or even Elvis himself....they could have an important message but they get drugged up and released into the public with funny walks and look genuinely mad....I've known a few people who are schizophrenic both of which came out of hospital worse than they went in....So i have to wonder what it is that makes them look mad...or even if they are.. When you're enclosed with lots of people you end up picking up their habits and becoming like them. Certain drugs give you the stutter, some give you the twitches, some even put your face into mad posistions. Others make you sleepy or some can can actually make you even more psycotic. You're watched constantly eating, shitting, sleeping and washing. Everything you do is analysed, then you start over analysing every single action and word that comes out of your mouth. Then there's the "rule". You don't speak to the staff too much or they believe you're mad, if you don't speak to them enough you're also mad. The staff also patronise you and speak to you as if you're 2 years old. Some other patients can flare up in violence, so you have to watch out for them and you see people who are scarred badly, not just from self harm razor cuts but you see scars of people who have doused themselves in flamables and set themselves alight, and when you first go in all the other patients gather round, prod and poke you without saying sh*t like their aliens who have discovered a human...... Medication can help regulate but they are still nuts.Obviously there are different stages of Schizophrenia but in more advanced/severe cases the person is absolutely of their rocker and no amount of medication can normalise such a person.
