We used the Airports hotel board and they sent a truck to get us. Truck took us into Holland countryside about a 2 hour drive, we didn't know this at the time. We arrived at a picturesque countryside hotel, no grade, no bitches, just middle aged couples enjoying a quiet weekend. Apart from once, ut that was a flop. All them middle of the road Rusta Baby places around there. There was a sick one that looked kinda Arab, with the spong seats and terracotta interior that was about 1 minute from our hostel (got blueberry from there), THAT was kinda sick, but other than that, we never really went anywhere apart from the bait Bulldog type ones. Not even close to being found. Was only about a Q though. The way back was JOKES . We missed the flight. Basically me and my boy stayed in the hostel, and my other friend and his chick were staying in a hotel like 20 minutes from us, near the airport. We linked them everyday in Centraal, and then him and his chick would leave at like 2 or 3. So yea, we agreed to link them an hour before the flight (10am I think), at the airport. We got there for like 8.50, and the mans not answering his phone. Turns out he woke up at 9.30, and he got to the airport about 10 minutes after the plane left lol. We had to book a new fliught, and they said it was in like 4 hours time. We had literally about 25 Euros left, so we thought that perfect, take a train to Centraal, and have one more session before the flight. Got on the train now, and it stops, about 5 minutes into the 20 minute ride. Its there, in the middle of the countryside, overground for about 10 minutes. Then the driver said something over the tanoy thing. We asked some locals, and they said the driver said SOMEONE HAD JUMPED INFRONT OIF THE TRAIN FROM A BRIDGE AND WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE POLICE. Said it would take about 2 hours. But could be longer. (Apparently bare people kill themselves on that bridge: suicide hotspot. Meanwhile, we were trapped in the train, not knowing if it will be shorter or longer than 2 hours, half way between the cafe and the airport, wondering if we will have time to go to the cafe, or if we will be on too long and miss the OTHER FLIGHT. It left after an hour, we went to a cafe, picked up one more draw, had a blaze, and made it back for the second flight. Nice. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
