Mirroring last season, Berbatov has scored just once in his first five appearances for Tottenham Hotspur this term. The Bulgarian hit the goal trail 12 months ago during Spurs' Uefa Cup run and Jol is keen for lightning to strike twice. Spurs start this season's European challenge against Anorthosis Famagusta on Thursday and manager Jol is looking for goals from Berbatov. "After the last season, you could say he is a slow starter," said Jol. "After scoring he is always different. You need a bit of success, as a player and as a team.
