Rsonist Posted September 18, 2007 Report Share Posted September 18, 2007 The spine of our team in the 05/06 season was King, Carrick and Keane.And all 3 had immense seasons, that almost got Champions League, and is our best season in the Prem to date.With King out most of last season, Carrick sold, it was ripped apart and the key to why we were so good that year. And yeah, it has not been replaced, i thought last year was a transitional season, but looks like this one is turning out to be the same.Only thing that keeps me going is the fact that this time last year, we were in exactly the same predicament, and still had great cup runs and finished 5th.
