When the flame thrower was invented and attached to boats people of them times thought this extreme level of power would signify the end of the world. today we have bombs. Interracial relationships are, as you said, seen as ALMOST normal in western society. People still at this moment in time look down upon some interracial relationships so I would not say it is accepted by western society. Incest is not normal in the western world. It is punishable with a jail sentence. And you are acting like incest hasnt been a prominent feature in human evolution, especially among tribe leaders all the way to the monarchy and the presevation of royal blood. r*pe (an extension of incest) is not seen as normal. Soon the punishment for this will be chemical castration. I would not call that acceptable. Also again this has been a prominent feature not only for mankind throughout the ages more so even then war, but in the animal kingdom. Bards used to make songs about war. Violence being glamorised in music is NOTHING new. i remember a homicide document I read depicting a bard who was killed for asking everyone to pick up their pitch forks and march to war because its so much fun. He was killed by a soldier who had lost an arm in war. There was one play documented about an actor who DIED on stage depicting jesuss death. Thats right, he was crucified and stabbed on stage to a round of applause. And lets not mention public hangings of old, Much worse then any films today, agreed?
