I was being ignorant, like you. Whether you win, lose or draw, it doesn't make you more loyal. The Derby away supporters aren't more loyal than the Man United or Chelsea away fans IMO... You all travel & you all spend money to SUPPORT. None of us know the score before the game, thats part of the thrill...I dont need to lie about the amount of games I go too. I been to two games this year, and have tickets to another 5 games on my various cards.Oh & I dont know exactly but its not much either way...Yeah Arsenal are the best.

Thats the thing though, do you arsenal fans "all travel" as you put it?Like i said to someone earlier, when was the last time you sold out an away allocation north on Manchester? And its not like you even have an excuse, because i always hear you play the best football in Europe and have been a consistently good to very good team in the last 10 years.Although i'm not asking you to, but at least put your hand up and say to Spurs fans fair enough, when it comes to our away support in particular, travelling miles up north to villages in the middle of nowhere, while your team are sitting in the relegation zone struggling....that is loyalty, whichever way you look at it. Its what defines you IMO as a football fan or supporter.Would a fair amount of arsenal fans do all that travelling and spending, seeing your team go through the sh*t, year after year?

Arsenal fans, you know you wont win the league, so make the most of the top while you can, you will crash and burn early 2008.You can all sit at home, watching the scores come through on bbc videprinter and call yourselfs 'supporters', laughing at Spurs, come on wherever, "spuds this, spuds that, lol at Tottenham, lol at Jol"Yet when i travel hundreds of miles to see my team get consistently beat up north, you lot think you can chat sh*t to me about SUPPORTING a team, yeah, f*ck off.....There is one arsenal fan that travels that i know of on this board, and he doesnt even post in the sports room. You lot are pathetic.
Going to the Sevilla game away, seen. I'm a supporter as well as a fan, so dead that argument anyways.Whether I watch at home or at the emirates, Arsenal WIN. What do spurs do? Seen.Whats pathetic is spending the money you have and already being out of contention for a champions league spot.Telling us where we will finish whilst being surrounded by teams who get battered 5-0 on a regs is even more pathetic than anything else that comes out of your mouth.JAM!Fact is everyone on the forum was gunnin us saying where we will finish this season, and so far we're telling you "shut your mout". Top spot. Let us enjoy it. biggrin.gif

I'm suppose to be going West Ham game, it will be my first away game in years. I'll go Pompey away over Christmas too, but for the most part I dont go to away games, I'm pushing myself this year more than ever. The away games always sell out from what I see, but for the record Prague & Sevilla are currently sold out... Bucharest isn't & nor is Liverpool.I give props to anyone that regularly spends money to go football cos it aint cheap. I dont think it displays more loyalty tho.I can't comment on the sh*t, but I'd hope so, our fans for the last two years have known we going to get beat up North but they still go in thousands.

So say, there is one boy are cheering from his house, watching it on the internet, struggles to get to 2 home games a season. And has seen his team be generally successful for the last decade. And then theres this other bloke, goes to the majority of home games, travels around Europe, travels across England. Paying thousands a year, seeing his team fail pretty much every year in some fashion for the last decade and has had very little to cheer about. You wouldnt see person no.2 the more loyal?

Fair enough, but even so, person no.2 is more loyal though, no?I am a student, and along with rent, bills, tuition fees and so on, i spend all my money on football, some months i have been left with no food, and havent been able to pay my rent because i went to see Spurs away somewhere in the middle of England, call me stupid, maybe, but football is based on passion, you cant help it....

I think the point I'm trying to say is a family friend of mine when he was younger, he lived for football, every penny he had went on going to football games, living in London he followed Manchester United throughtout UK & Europe. More so than ANY fan I've ever known still to this date.Years later with him earning more money, he doesnt go to any games and he now lives much closer to Manchester. Granted he got new responsibilities in life but he doesnt even make time, but yes he is still as loyal to Man Utd as a fan for definate, still has the same passion.

WHY THE f*ck DOES EVERYONE THINKING I'M SENDING!I know some fans that get so disappointed that there regularly say sh*t like "I dunno why I bother with this sh*t, I just renewed cos it gets me away from the wife"Then your have fans who list countless excuses "cant get tickets" "too far" "waiting list too long" for not going or the ones that really appreciate the few games they go to, but more time would be saying the same sh*t once the nolvety wears off on their own season ticket.

Ticket prices are a pisstakeAlthough I could cheat the system by attending sh*t champions league games such as Toulouse and get a ticket for Porto at home.It is a minor though my uncle gets them as he is in a higher priority list than me and I pay him to get me tickets and other times I got in with a child ticket. If only the coach fares where less then boy I would attend 95% of matchesAround £20 on transport and around 20-35 depending on the gameMore time I borrow money of my mum and save up my EMA and use money I get from work
