It's picking up now.So any rumours/news of who we are supposedly going to buy stick it in here.New one i found this morning -

Tottenham have been linked with a move for Croatia midfielder Danijel Pranjic. Pranjic's performances for Dutch side Heerenveen have inspired glowing reports from Spurs' scouts, and the 26-year-old may prove to be the answer to Juande Ramos' left-sided problems. The winger, who has notched six goals for his club side this season, played in Croatia's 3-2 European qualifying win over England at Wembley, although in his nine caps for his country, national boss Slaven Bilic has preferred to use the Pranjic as a wing-back. White Hart Lane officials are reported to have watched the midfielder in action against Scotland, where he came up against current Spurs right-back Alan Hutton, and they were impressed. Reports from Croatia suggest contact has been made between the two clubs, but with Pranjic likely to feature in this summer's Euro 2008 finals, it is understood Heerenveen are keen to hold on to the player until after the championships in Austria and Switzerland, where his value could rise if he performs well.

I dont wanna give him games. We have Keane and Dimi, he will never get games anyway.Sell him for £10m or sumthin in the summer. Get Pranjic for the left of midfield. Bring up Pekhart to bench warm.
lol, do you dislike him so much cuz of the price you payed for him?Personally I think he's a v good goal scorer I dont think you should sell him..

No, when you travel north up to shitholes like Bolton, Sunderland, Newcastle and Derby, and see Bent in the starting line up or coming on as a sub your heart sinks. You then proceed to see him miss every ball that comes over his head. Makes his runs too early/too late and is generally 20 steps behind players like Keane and Dimi, its very frustrating.

Tottenham boss Juande Ramos has again been linked with a move for Cameroon star Alain Nkong. The 28-year-old midfielder currently plays for Mexican side Atlante and is expected to cost £5m.The 28-year-old has played for Las Palmas in Spain, Nacional in Uruguay, Colorado Rapids in the United States and FC Pacos de Ferreira in Portugal.Meanwhile, Jake Livermore is back in Tottenham's reserves tonight after his loan at MK Dons and joins Gilberto, Chris Gunter and Ricardo Rocha in the squad to face Fulham at Leyton Orient tonight. The midfielder made five substitute appearances for Paul Ince's League Two title-chasers in his month's loan - four wins and a draw against rivals Peterborough United. However, he didn't feature in yesterday's Football League Trophy final win against Grimsby at Wembley.Dorien Dervite, Adel Taarabt, Danny Rose and Tomas Pekhart are also in the squad.

Uruguayan striker Diego Forlan is understood to be a summer target for Tottenham should Dimitar Berbatov move on.There has been mounting speculation that the Bulgarian will leave White Hart Lane at the end of the season, after two impressive seasons with Spurs, with Juande Ramos admitting that plenty of top clubs are showing an interest.Former Manchester United forward Forlan has been a big success in La Liga, with both Villarreal and Atletico Madrid, but has admitted that he is considering quitting Spain in the summer.Spurs are believed to have made an enquiry about the £10million-rated striker, although the Carling Cup winners are likely to face competition from Aston Villa for his signature. It is understood Forlan, who has a scoring record of almost a goal every two games in Spain, would consider a return to the Premiership.

Tottenham have identified David Bentley as the player to lead an entire new midfield when they seek to build on their Carling Cup success next season.Blackburn are fighting to keep the England international at Ewood Park and insist he is not for sale. But Spurs will be awash with transfer funds in the summer and will not baulk at paying over the odds to get their man.Bentley is believed to fancy a return to London but joining former club Arsenal is not an option, there is no room for him in Chelsea's impressive engine-room and West Ham cannot offer the carrot of European football.Liverpool are also interested but may not have the money to match Tottenham's offer which could be in the £15million price range. Spurs also have a number of targets in La Liga with Sevilla star Diego Capel the most prominent. The changes won't stop in the engine-room with Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc tipped to replace Paul Robinson between the posts, the former England stopper is wanted by Middlesbrough.Aston VIlla could also make a move for Robinson as they are not prepared to meet Liverpool's £9m asking price for Scott Carson.Newcastle have been linked with a move for Spurs winger Aaron Lennon and former Arsenal winger Jose Reyes while Liverpool could move for Schalke's Brazilian full-back Rafinha in the summer.Blackburn boss Mark Hughes is ready to pay £4.5m battle for Heerenveen's American midfielder Michael Bradley while Turkish rivals Galatasaray and Fenerbahce will offer £5m to Middlesbrough for striker Tuncay Sanli.

don't agree you lot do care. Most of your squad are playing 4 their futures. You we're shocking today.
Who doesnt care, the fans or the players? Both dont, there is f*ck all to play for. Apart from the fans pride, and today is was dented. Being beat by Birmingham 4-1 was one straw but to be totally rolled over by a horrendous Newcastle side was the last straw. Even though you did play like it was your own cup final and we went about our business not giving a f*ck.The most annoying thing is, it seems Newcastle can be shite for seasons, but always seem to up their game against Tottenham. Just one of those Premiership things. Will never change.
not even gonna do a proper response because anything truthful will just get deleted. i've already told you yesterdy was our carling cup final!!!

he is a decent premisership striker, but should be playing regular football somewhere - too young to be permanent 3rd choice. took his goal well yesterday.

Where did you tell me that?LMFAO @ going to WHL being your cup final....And about anything truthful, like you said 91% of newcastle fans are not deluded. That sort of sh*t gets deleted because its pure fraff. Its modern fact you lot are deluded. If you didnt beat Fulham last week, you woulda been calling for "King Kev's" head, but now 2 wins and its "walking in a Keegan wonderland".Is that a wonderland of mid table nothingness, no trophy and no Europe then. Our season was over by Ocotober, people seem to forget Newcastle were 14 points ahead of us by November. And 2 weeks ago they were 7 points behind us. Ramos revived our season and has done wonders to actually win us a trophy and therefore qualify for Europe. So you can beat Tottenham every season, but as long as we are generally classified as the 5th/6th best team in England, winning trophies and qualifying for Europe, those victories are null and void.
