I'm not a big fan of soulja boy, but I rate him highly he had a drive, he ran with it and now he's getting money, it doesn't matter if he isn't the best rapper he has his own style and type of music just because you don't like it that doesn't make it sh*t and it doesn't make him a ''wasteman'' it just means you DON'T LIKE IT. To those of you who are complaining about how music was better back in the day I agree, yes it was BUT this a different era and there's a different market today and if you want that money, you have to appeal to that market. How you gonna throw stones at some one for wanting to make money?SYM SMH.
Because its called selling out.And yes he is sh*t.How is it some peopel live in some rainbow world where everyone is great as long as they are doing their own thing? No. His music is awful.
How is he selling out ?If you wanna listen to real hip hop, do so, all the real rappers are still around. If there was only hip-pop artists around. Then you can complain.
I do Listen to rela hip hop, and real music generally. And from doing so it is my opinion that crunk music is sh*t.I wasnt specificaly referring to Soulja Boy when I said selling out, i was adressing the bit in the red.

It was a joke. However, Yes I do.If a field slave called a house slave a house nigger/coon, would he be selling out? Would be be doing anything wrong?Im calling it how i see it is all. And regardless of who you may think I am selling out, what I said was still correct, which you seem to be dodging.

Of course i can complain about this guy making sh*t just to make money, sameway i can complain about the cheeky girls, or robbie williams....i can fault him for his money making ethic but that also doesn't mean i should applaud his mediocre music.

It's not sh*t, it just doesn't appeal to you.Crunk music is good music for the clubs. You still haven't explain HOW it makes one a sell out if they make crunk music.

why do you keep saying "coon"
Coon = Black person that purposely comforms to black stereotypes for money/house nigger/someone who embarrases the whole black race everytime they step onto television/the people who make me say "thanks for setting me back 50 years" everytime they open their mouth.as you will have noticed, something i feel very strongly about.
oh is that the real meaning?nowadays i only hear i get thrown around lyk nigger or caffer (no racist)

Dancing as always been the fun part of hiphop, )Running man, Type writer, Robot, e.t.c) Certain man are going on like this is all new. Its a culture that as been carrying on from generations. Its light hearted music man and if u can't see the humor in it. Then too badNo one is saying it the greatest music around. It wasn't engineered to win grammys. Its a craze that just took off!The club I went to on saturday, Every one bussin the dance Black, white, asian e.t.c.. *big f*ckign sigh*f*ck you talking about light hearted? You listen to ANY of the music that is being discussed? It is gangsta rap with dancing added. Its the same disrespectful sh*t but with some slightly more metreosexual guys at the head of it..And people are saying R.I.P. Black music because It is at the forefront of "rap" now, and rap is black music. And lol @backpackers, smh if you were directing that at me.Also, because peopel dont like snap music, it doesnt make their comments any more dumb than it does yours in defence of it..Yea, and "Barbie Girl" By Aqua was GREAT aswell.
