London is the capital of transplanted cultures and transplanted rinsed out fashion from oversea's. From the slang down to the dressing is all borrowwed culture. Go to tokyo or new york and you will see that fashion there is already steps ahead. the average uk head jumps onto a fashion trend when he see's a rapper or some grime artist wearing it . The average uk head's passport has only got ayia napa, malaga stamps hence thats the only fashion they are exposed to.the dunks are called dunk denims they are meant to look like that, made of denimthese are also what am looking to get2457587326.jpgrustic-nike-air-max-90.jpg

WTF are people on about, London is probably the fashion capital of the world, America dont set NO fashion trends beyound hip hop baggy jeans and tee-skirts.
biggrin.gif You haven't travelled much have you?
london fashon capital? tru say americans are a bit swag at certain things like suits and shoesbut i always see far better smart casual gear (not just hip hop) them sweaters bill cosby wore on the cosby show>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>even today i havent see many good ones in londonbut paris and even when i went holland had just as good smart casual wearlondon is decent (if you are S,M)
Its ONE of the fashion capitals of the world, Milan and Paris being two other big ones. Dont get me wrong, New York do set trends, but not many outside of street garms. A FEW, not many. Its the SAME OLD sh*t coming out of America, has been for years, Go Paris or stay in London if you REALLY want FASHION, go to New York if you want TRENDS.
ok well im not even into the whole fashion thing or trends i buy what i like as i like itand what i mean is that i find far better semi casual wear (non hip hop) in all varieties in NY, FLorida or DC that i rarely see in londonand are alot better.

Paris/Japan for fashion >>> _______________.It only seems like America 'cause they have most control and are in media most.Everyone looks up to America.
In terms of Couture fashion and catwalk fashion, then Milan and Paris usually set the trends. In terms of streetwear London/Tokyo are miles ahead of New York. The only people in America who actually SET TRENDS are people like Kanye and Pharell, but thats all got from Japan. And as for the comment about London following grime MCs and rapper for fashion, thats BULLSHITE, no grime MC or rapper sets fashion trends in this country lmaoPlus, all the biggest brand/makes are mainly British, Japanesse or European, not American.

There's no huge british brands though but it does play a huge part.No one really cares about Milan though, that's grown upper class fashion.Fashion in general is London/Japan.

How is that a vague example. They are designers, in London, who dictate the direction fashion goes ACROSS THE WORLD. Name some American designers who are doing the same?Theres not many streetwear BRANDS bruv, streetwear is really an amalgamation of the latest fashion and trends put together, theres no DESIGNERS who actually DESIGN streetwear. The fashion trends, such as Kanye West glasses, or his Bapes, or his elaborate hoodies are conseqences of what the above designers design ie, bright colours or stripes or whatever. Name some American designers, or American BRANDS that do the same, theres NOT MANY. ALL the above British brands are bigger than ANY American brands who claim to set fashion trends.
