They love to use the word to come across as caring and "for the people" but when you dissagree with them, it's a different story, then you are branded bad names and outcasted.Democracy has never been a good thing IMO, it has been practiced badly and can be seen as something that only caters for the majority, where the minority of the voters end up as ghosts.
