ONLY 14k a year?Man is 17?If you are 19 years old and make 14k, that is good, whatever anyone says.Average 19 year old works in like, JD, and makes about 7 grand a year. if that..

I wasnt dissing E15 for making 14k a yr, i was just thinking why ppl a few yrs older than him were so upset that he got a job like that.If i was 19 and had 3 a levels- i would be looking for a better job than that. I'm not an expert, but i'm sure there are better opportunities within a bank, other than working as a cashier.Working in the Head Office in a menial role under senoir management, (even as a PA) would offer a lot more valuable experience. Also, that is seriously waste if the"average" 19 yr old works in JD Sports making 7k. If that was my child, they would get cussed consistantly until they get something better!Big up E15 still- for setting himself aside from them ppl working full time in those shitty retail jobs

Yes, that is true. I agree with most of your post.

Positive criticism can go far. I doubt the truthfulness of his story so I would not waste my time trying to put him down.
positive criticism is good when the person has good reasons behind that it being that he/she is well informed about what they are criticising. but from his own quote "im not an expert..BUT I AM SURE that there are better jobs" seen at the irony.

as i am not in the position of a 19 yr old, i obviously am not an expert. If i was 19, i would go into a recruitment agency in the city and ask what my options are. I would give the biggest plainface if they told me the best thing they can find for me is a £14k a yr Trainee Cashier job, especially if i have 9 GCSE and 3 A Levels grade A-C.If you are seriously telling me that that is what a 19 yr old should be aiming for- then this country is f*cked. And again, i reiterate that this isnt a dig at e15 because he has just come out of school and has no A Levels, so for a school leaver, that is a very good job.

im not exactly sure why you keep quoting A levels like its some victoria cross. there are graduates with BSC'S still looking for work months after graduation, the job market for most careers now is more based on experience than what degree you have, banks are also quick in terms of staff progression if you're a hard/good workerthey are always expanding and always have opportunities available for the right staff, so being a trainee is the start of better things if he can do the job.by the time he finishes college and begins uni he would have much better prospects. the best you will get when you walk into those agencies with a levels is either telesales/admin/ or any other trainee position
