Scorpzz Posted January 6, 2008 Report Share Posted January 6, 2008 This is seriously at the top of my list, from start to finish every song brings a emotion that no other album that I've listened to has ever brought, they say poverty is the best motivator and on this album you can hear the hunger in every track and in each line he delivers. Some may not comprehend Nas' approach on this album you need to be in sync to listen and take in everything he says. My favourite tracks being Life's a bitch & NY state of mind.Life's a bitch, when ever I hear the intro I just kick back and prepare myself for another intake of lyrical complexity, AZ's flow just brings that powerful listen to my struggle but relax flow. 'I woke up early on my bornday i'm 20 it's a blessing' geez just reciting that verse in my head just makes me want to kick back and say f*ck the world.
