Yeh seriously, before I didnt care, but now I feel like i'm missing out..and yea I know I'd have to deal with stupidity.I feel at times now (no bighead) when I talk to peole MY AGE that go to college, they seem like...not as mature/smart as me? I know it makes me sound like an arse but it really does make me feel like I am like a MAN, talkign to CHILDREN....baaare ignorance its true..I think I'd be lookin to study Business & Biology, possibly psychology. I would love to do philosophy at uni level too actually.Though I need to really refresh myself on what coureses run where...Album I'd recommend..1. Uprising ...it was his last album, one of his most religious infact, and the one that contained "redemption song"One I'd recommend more is Legend. Its a compliation album, But it will give you the best introduction to his music...even though the songs were recorded at different times I'd say its probably hands down the best Album I have ever heard. Completely brilliant..*this also has redemption song on it*I'll up it for you tomorrow & PM the link if you want.

i know what yr sayin about feelin like yr speaking to children, even though those people in my class are like only a year younger, i feel like some grandpa they're always sayin stupid sh*t and i have to school them and help them see other points of view. but even people my age before they left, alot of them are meant to be ''academically smarter'' according to the courses i'm doing but i've known so many of them for years and really i feel like me>them. intellectually that is.safe for the recommendations i'm downloadin both of them now.

Ok cool. And yea I feel like Me>them a lot too. Also in work I feel like that with a lot of people..Its like many people stopped growing intellectually at like the age of 16.They then might continue to gain EXPERIANCE or something else etc, but in many respects, just still act like big kids....all part of the system =\lol I feel if everyone thought like me, sh*t would be cooooooool...

yh i did filosophy at uni quickly was alrite bit dry
srsly? why did you find it dry?
wasnt rly planning to go uni was gunna go usa with one bredrin and seek my fortune but in the excitement of passing my a levels (i chose essay subjects which were easy to freestyle) i called up a place thru clearing asking to do english literature but they wer full, guy says they have room on philosophy i was like'wats that' he said, its basically english lit,but only 6 hrs a week plus chicks will dig you i was like cool.but tbh it was intresting but boring at the same time, quite technical,i just wanted to know if time travel was possible found out it wasnt in the first lecture, mainly i just spent my time reading english literature and watching all the films they had in the library, maybe went to about 10 lectures in the first year, went to more film studies lectures, got up to halfway thru the second year and jacked it in.enjoyed the politics and sociology units more, philosophy just seemed more mechanical to me but this bearing in mind i dint rly want to study that anyway, plus paying fees and rent all them f*ckrys there i just started working full time instead.tbh i shud of taken a gap year, wasnt rly ready to study at the time, but was eager to sample the uni life.this being said i regret nothing..if yr intrested why not,but need i remind its not a career specific subject, but a degrees a degree to an extentalso, aristotle>>>_______

LOL that part made me crease.explain what you mean by mechanical...but i see what you mean by it not being career specific but i'm just doing it for the knowledge mostly, a degree is the 2nd award tbh.

its basically like doing algebra but with words,i was also frustrated by the lack of solutions its basically just infinite waffle,i wud have either preferred english lit which is the more artistically framed version,or politics the more applicable and reality based version, but this is just me.if youre interested in philosophy (which i wasnt) by all means dont be discouraged, plus i only did one and a half years so cant give a full account but from knowing guys who were in there third year the workload seemed to get increasingly harsh as to be expected.first year was a breeze.in short i dont really have the concentration for that, but like i say if yr interested it can be valuable and you do learn some stuff, like reading critically and using the force and wat not
