M.Dot Posted January 22, 2008 Report Share Posted January 22, 2008 The closest I got to completing these was when I had about 51 stickers left.Bare pages completed, bare doubles & triples.I used to collect these in primary before I even watched football regularly, sometimes I hear old ballers names and remember them because I had their sticker and I'd remember them in a certain kit. It was all about getting sticker number 1 and shineys and the picture of the team stickers.It was mad exciting going to buy like 20 packs. I used to get like 8 packs a go tho at 2 quid. I had them coins to from sainsbury, i think it was for wc 98 tho, i had the sticker book to. Never completed one tho.I used to get basketball cards to even tho i didnt have a clue about it, i just liked them american comic shops.Who remembers swapping them to, people where like " got got got need need got need".
