Steven Posted February 3, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 3, 2008 I find it extremely ironic that when people chat about Religion being a way to control the masses "Religion= Manipulation and control of the mind"It's said like common fact, but saying the same thing about the Government labels you a conspiracy theoristSurely if one facet of our society (religion) manipulates and controls the people through fear and intimidation, then another facet of society with equal footing (the government) can just as easily (probably easier if you consider THEY decide what is right and what is wrong with the legal system) manipulate the people to do what they wantI just don't buy all this brain-washing Muslim bullshit that's preached ad nauseum on TV, on the internet, including this forum"Muslims" are not the reason life in the UK is sh*t...And no one is saying they are but from when a group of people spouting hate and threatening to murder people in the name of god and start a holy war (extremists) people need to stop watching flinstones and take a real interest in whats going on.Like do people really understand what sharia law is? I have 2 Mosques near my house it's peaceful ain't really problems with them my areas hugely mixed and theres no real racial tensions to that.
