Anniversary tomorrow. Can you imagine a crash happening now, like the Arsenal invincibles, the great Liverpool teams, the 1999 Man U team being wiped out.Obv none of us will know the reaction of Manchester/country, but must of been proper f*cked.Always heard that Duncan Edwards was a sick young defender.

Does anyone actually care? Like really?
lolIts cos we were not around, thats why not many people will. But like I said, imagine it happening in our time
Its just one of them sentimental things that fans "feel" they have to care about. Its like Rememberance Sunday. How can it be rememberance when you dont know anyone to remember?

Thats silly really. It is remembering that a mill+ people sacrificied their lives for others. Many of them kids as young as 14.Remember the "spirit" of the day.Doesnt matter how it is spun or used for, as long as you take something positive from the knowledge of what happened, then it is all good.Might aswell say lets not have any JA independance day because some people will have lived their whole lives when JA has been independant, or saying lets not have any other type of anniversary just because the initial effect of the original date has passed..

R.I.PKnown about the story for as long as I can remember.
Same.Got some kicks in once cuz some Arsenal fans were singin the song about it after a match.Trusay it was the 25 stone manc skinhead that was layin the beats though. Man just weasled in from the side like, real smooth.

I dont think its pointless 'cause people will care, like I said about fans, but I dont and was just asking who does

A memorial poster at Old Trafford to mark the 50th anniversary of the Munich air disaster has been vandalised with paint bombs. The billboard poster features an image of the 1958 Manchester United team which lost eight players in the crash.A Manchester United spokesman condemned the attack and said the paint had now been removed and the poster restored. The poster has been criticised by some fans for including the logo of the club's jersey sponsors. The US-based global insurance company AIG's logo is on the bottom right-hand corner of the poster. The 50th anniversary of the Munich disaster is on 6 FebruaryManUtdPaint_468x247.jpg
