It's a shame he never played at a world cup or big international tournament. For that reason i don't think he will be considered in 50 years time to be a legend. Definately a domestic legend though, the way he adpoted his game from being a pacy left winger, to really a left sided midfielder was sick, still just as effective.

Bredrin you need to put a few exclamations and smileys to let man know your joking. Giggs has been a mainstay in uniteds team since he was 17 big players - Keane, Smeichel, Beckham, Cantona, Ince and many more have gone yet Giggs still remains why? because because he's consistently hugging that left wing and chipping in with goals, assists. Swear down if i didn't have a deep rooted hatred for most things united he'd be one of my favouriteplayers EVER. Bar Figo can't think of a better and more consistent winger this generation - yes i said it.His goal against Arsenal in the FA cup semi final>>>>>>Messis last season which everyone was foaming over. Giggs is one of the finest wingers the game has produced.He chose Wales but if you think that he wouldn't have walked into the England team you are sorely mistaken. There were no other natural left midfielders/wingers for England, was always a problem position.Giggs would have easily walked into the England national side and would have gained the international praise that he deserves.
