Watch out for the new ones, the high street or main road is now referred to as "The Strip".Example:*Phone rings* "Hello?"Wha gwan fam, whats hood?"Nutting cuz, mans on the Strip, bally town (insert unique ends name here)Its coming to an ends near you soon.

The strip orignated , I THINK, from going on holidays such as Malia and probably before in certain other places where they have a strip of clubs/entertainment/restaurants.Cos i member when i went to Malia about 2years ago, we kept (and every1 else) kept calling the main bit the Strip, as a way of describing the place, not to sound slangish.And the front line.In our ends the youngers, well alot of people refer to the main roads as the Front line.''Fam, come Catford frontline''''yeah yeah, dey fam, 10 mins''

The strip orignated , I THINK, from going on holidays such as Malia and probably before in certain other places where they have a strip of clubs/entertainment/restaurants.Cos i member when i went to Malia about 2years ago, we kept (and every1 else) kept calling the main bit the Strip, as a way of describing the place, not to sound slangish.
More likely it's standard yank catting, from Las Vegas/Los Angeles/Miami

Well, it never clicked 2 me that it was a yank ting, i just said it because it literally was a ''strip'', no catting. Moretime, i dont care where words come from. I say what i like.
