VonBoyage Posted March 13, 2008 Report Share Posted March 13, 2008 This section bare GRIME orientated.. so i'm looking directly at the dub-mandem.On my weekly shop this week, i managed to pick up HIJAK - TEARS This one was meant to me out AGES ago... its finally out on white, single sided but stil.. its better than not seeing the light of day at allBENGA - DIARY OF AN AFRO WARRIORFinally got a legit CD version of this album.. proper banger this one, I've got the LP version on TEMPA, but thats missing some tunes that are not on the CD, and vice versa.RUSKO - TOO FAR / 2 N A QI bought this mainly for 2NAQ, too far is one of those trademark RUSKO bits that i dont reli feel.. it will probably grow on me though.. and i'll probably bang it out on set regardless.DMZ/SILKIE - SHAKE OUT UR DEMONS/CYBER DUBThis one was a straight coppage, BOTH tunes as big as each other, although i sway towards Mala plates every time they're pressed. The Silkie addition is slick, been banged out by the major players at near enough every event going.. personally its one of my favourite Silk bits. A definate purchase for any dubbaholic.Im going out again today to pick up BENGA - ELECTRO SCRATCH/THE GERM today, if i can get it .. Just come out on RINGO, so fingers crossed.Anyone else bought anything recently that they felt was a good purchase.. Doesn't have to be NEW. spiderman Posted March 13, 2008 Report Share Posted March 13, 2008 seeing as i dont have a decks i dont really buy vinyll, got the odd one here n there from when i used to go down my bredrins to spin a bit....ive bought benga's album on cd, thats about it.certain tunes really tempt me to get decks, but i dont really have the time/money or space to be followin that up. If i had decks, id probably have alredy bought..RUSKO - BETAMAX/ THE OTHERS - BED BUGSand when the coki drops his bombs on wax its gonna tempt me again lol.
