I dont think its dead, its just moved with the times.Rinse still has most of the big names in every scene at the mo plus is moving world wide.not a lot of pirate radio stations can actually say that.Someone said Rinse aint saying much unless ur a funky head, but dubstep & grime on there is still the biggest pull!
The demise of Grime has meant pirate radio has slowly become sh*t.Just look at all the hype stations back a few years ago and then look today.Times have changed for the worst.
has grime not evolved into something more acceptable to the everyday ear?its now gone worldwide.. just look at wiley, ddoublee, jme, skepta.. these are world wide artist going on to bigger things.pirate stations have a history of pushing whatever music is big at the time or 'the new sound'... is this not whats happening again with this new age funky?

Grime had its peak a few years ago when Eskimo Dance was happening and the radio stations were real busy. You got a couple of Grime artists doing well but its on its way out now. This new wave of funky will not create the same vibe that Grime and UK Gargage done back in the day. I dont think it will have as much hype as UK Garage back in the day.
