pictures of the police presence during the Chelsea match,

cant wait till the start of next season when OT is awash with Green and gold and the Glazers are still pimping and raping our club.

coz then maybe these fools will realise/admit to themselves that the only way to get rid of them will be to stop handing cash over to them.

that is obviously the root of the problem

but Im not going to think less of people for doing this / trying, even if it is futile

at the very least it has drawn attention to the disquiet

Empty seats in a ground that been packed since the 50's even through relegation in the 70's

would be a bigger sign and signal of the dis-quiet and would probably even get the Glazers out.

all it would take is a years sacrifice,

as i've said before these people are the kind of people who campaign about climate change awareness and go on marches and what not, but have a range rover parked in their driveway,

they wanna have their cake and eat it, they wanna look like "ohh look we dont want these guys here, but we're not really gonna do anything meaningful to get em out"

i agree this is better than nothing, but if next season they're still going, what was your protest for, the Glazers know they're not liked, and they dont give a f*ck, ask the Tampa Bay Fans. as long as their making a nice fianancial return they'll hang around

True but its small steps, eventually people will realise, more people cotton on all the time, the truly hardheaded will take a while

Look how long it took to get to this stage

Success silences a lot of people,

and even after these bunch of Glory hunters cotton on to whats going on there will still be a stream of day tripper muppets tos fill the seats and the Glazer pockets.

i'd go as far as saying most United fans across the world have no idea what the Green and gold thing is really about, they probably just see it as paying homage to our original colours, this is underlined by the ammount of Green and gold scarves you see walking into the megastore each matchday.

A empty stadium for a successfull team is a sure fire way of letting people know theres a big problem. as i said it might take a year or 2 of boycotting but in the long run that over what the future may hold otherwise.

but after the collective lack of fight shown by the fans at The Bayern and Chelsea games, i'll repeat what i said in 2005 and say i wont hold my breath.

This is cringeworthy

Saw something outside the megastore before the chelsea game that would make Kompressor LIVID.

About 10 people walk out the megastore having just purchased an MUFC towel or some sh*t...Then as they get outside, some photographers were outside (presumably for the website or some sh*t) and they ask them to get in a photo, they held up some AsiaUnited flag thing and take the photo.

Next thing I know they grab another group of people to take photos, and one girl holds up some green and gold scarf with LUHG on it, the woman literally RIPPED the scarf out her hand, took the picture then gave it back to her. The young girl just looked dazed like she'd been hit by a stun grenade.

Pure jokes. I wont lie the first thing I thought of was 'imagine the rant from kompressor if i post this story' so fire away...

Sir Alex Ferguson has hinted he will not blood Owen Hargreaves back into his first-team amid reports he will not play for Manchester United this season.

The Canada-born England international has not played for the Red Devils since September 2008 after undergoing surgery on both knees but has been gradually stepping up his rehabilitation in recent months.

Hargreaves was part of United's squad that lost 2-1 at home to Chelsearecently and it was expected that he would feature between now and the summer.

However, Ferguson has done little to quash reports that Hargreaves will not return until next season by hinting he has more than enough options currently vying for midfield places.

"It is difficult to say when Owen will be back; he is training well and I had him in the squad for the Chelsea game," stated Ferguson.

"His training performances have been fine but I think at the moment midfield is not an issue for us because we have plenty of alternatives."

Eye for goal

Meanwhile, the vastly-experienced Scottish tactician has praised the goals output of Darron Gibson, who took his season tally to six after scoring against Bayern Munich last week.

Ferguson believes it would be unwise to ignore Gibson's goal-scoring prowess and has likened the 22-year-old's ability to find the back to the net to that of Paul Scholes.

United's long-serving manager believes with more regular first-team football the Republic of Irelandinternational could make a telling contribution from midfield.

"You saw Gibson's performance against Bayern Munich," he said. "That was his sixth goal of the season [in all competitions] and you cannot dismiss that.

"It is the kind of contribution we used to get from Paul Scholes. He used to get me 12 to 14 goals from midfield all the time and we haven't had a player like that in a while.

"Who is to say if Gibson had been playing all the time where he would be in terms of goals? But he is getting recognition now and even the players are commenting on how much he has improved."

Gibso is not going to be good enough for us. I'd expect at least 6 goals at least with the amount of shots he's had.

Sadly Gibson will probably be the reason we don't sign a world class CAM this summer.

He's got a good shot and gets a few goals but other parts of his game needs a lot more work.

Where's Petrucci?

I know. We aint signing no one we need.

f*ck knows. Last I heard he had bad back problems due to growth spurts but I thought he was only supposed to be out until Feb?

more laughable stuff from planet Glazer

Manchester United fans attack club over 'cynical' ticket charge

United plan to charge for right to apply for away games

• Move seen as attempt by Glazers to recoup lost revenue

Manchester United are considering charging fans for the right to apply for away tickets in a move that could make the club £1m and has led one supporters' group to question whether it is a "cynical" move by the Glazer family to recoup the lost revenue from freezing season-ticket prices.

The club are discussing establishing a Premier League travel club in which supporters might have to pay a "nominal" joining fee, the initial figure under consideration being £20, if they want to follow Sir Alex Ferguson's team on the road.

The Independent Manchester United Supporters' Association estimate that more than 50,000 people would join such a scheme. If, as mooted, a charge is introduced, that would potentially make the club a seven-figure sum.

"Supporters would be paying £20 for what would feel like a one-in-50,000 chance of getting a ticket," the IMUSA spokesman, Mark Longden, said. "It's yet another cost for the supporters. You have to be cynical when the Glazer family are concerned and this seems to be a nice way of getting their money back from the season tickets."

United say that nothing has been finalised and that they will listen to the club's official fans' forum before making any decision. The 15-member forum will discuss the idea at a meeting tomorrow involving the chief executive, David Gill, the chief operating officer, Michael Bolingbroke, and the director of venue, Karl Evans.

England's best-supported club currently operate a loyalty-pot scheme for away games but are considering abandoning that policy, despite it forming part of the official Old Trafford charter.

The fans' forum has always opposed any change and United have gone along with that recommendation, but on this occasionsome supporters, as well as club officials, have raised concerns that the loyalty pot is a "closed shop", with younger fans unable to break into it, and there is a feeling that the introduction of ID cards would alleviate the issue of persistent standing at away matches.

Several clubs, including Aston Villa, Bolton Wanderers and Manchester City, have cut the size of United's away allocation because of this problem. Sunderland are the latest, issuing only 1,700 tickets for the game at the Stadium of Light on 2 May. The Wearside club have explained their refusal to offer the recommended entitlement of 3,000 on United's followers being identified for "causing a significant safety risk".

United suspended the loyalty pot for a match at Bolton in 2006 to try to stop the fans from standing but it had little effect."There is an argument that they want to sanitise our away support," Longden said. "There is a lot of disillusionment among those in the loyalty pot as I think most people would recognise that loyalty should be recognised."

IMUSA used to be guaranteed a place on the fans' forum, alongside the Manchester United Supporters' Trust in its previous guise as Shareholders United, but that privilege was taken away after the Glazers bought the club in 2005.

Think about it,

Hargreavers played 45 minutes in a reserve game, played quite well, was penciled in for the following reserve game however was taken out on the day of the game with the "story" being he's moving up to the first team,

He hasnt been seen since.
