Fergie can't sign off deals worth 20k a week on his own, he needs the board to sanction it.

Yes Fergie is the only person to decide which youth and reserve players get contracts, but if his opinions and the boards opinions differ in terms of when the contracts are renewed, and how much is to be paid, then there is only one winner, Teams such as Juventus.

the way we handle contracts is quite shockin, we only jus renewed rafeals one wid a year to go.

people need to see that when a player like smailling comes in and gets the contract he wants even tho he was unproven, the youth/reserve players will act up

dont get me wrong, obv SAF has better judgement but surely he could of given pogba a lil run and see what hes really made of....

Only time will tell if it's his loss or not tbh, Could go either way, in our life times we have been almost conditioned to think this way due to success we've had, but who's to say if that type of success can be repeated.

This United are better than everyone talk that we have been fed by the suits is a marketing ploy designed in order to boost the world wide fanbase, we all know this is just not true.

When Fergie leaves we'll be in a interesting state of "sort of limbo" where a lot of different things could happen.

United have the biggest fanbase in the whole of england and the top 3 in the whole world.

In a few weeks time we will be listed on the stock exchange which means more MONEY

Don't see us going down the same road as other teams like arsenal or liverpool because our club is too big for that

Chelsea could play in a similar field too.

Other clubs will go this way to,

With the exception of PSG it could be argued that all teams have a bigger pull than us right now, as the disparity between our spending in comparison with these clubs for a example grows our pull will only decrease,

We can't compete with any of those teams there, A big factor in our "pull" is Fergie, simple really,

The money from the float is going towards paying of debt incurred by the Gnomes. Won't have a real effect on transfer funds or policy,

The fact that most contract renewals happen last minute is a directive from the board who probably want to avoid another Fletcher for example Situation.

In the late 70's and 80's I doubt Liverpool fans could forsee a downturn in their fortunes,

Disclaimer, nobody is saying we're on the verge of delegation or not qualifying for the champions league, (touch wood)

But being able to compete on all fronts might not be pissible after Fergie goes

Why do a lotta Man Utd fans hate on Ashley Young? he had a good first season and is the perfect Winger he actually is a complete attacking player he has pace combined with technique. He has a great Delivery from crosses, has a great long range shot, can pass the ball well and he goes past players and he also does his defensive duties by tracking back. What more can you ask for in a Winger?

I like Nani and Valencia too Nani is definitley the best outta the 3 but Young has strengths over Valencia like shooting from distance he is better than Valencia, is good at set pieces somethin Valencia ain't known for. But if you don't appreciate an almost flawless Winger like Young who is complete at everything crossing, shooting, passing, dribbling then you don't really appreciate Football.

So you saying Young hasn't scored some cracking goals from distance in his career wetther at Villa or Man Utd? you saying those 2 wonderful long distance goals he scored againist Aresenal last season don't exist? or the goal from long range againist Blackburn?

Ok then mate i'm tr0llin and Ashley Young doesn't score long range goals, he doesn't make good croses/assists to set up goals, he doesn't have pace, he doesn't score free kicks, he doesn't make good passes this videos is just some Matrix ish @ Agony you win mate.
