But teams wont come out and get destoyed, a draws a very good result for them in their eyes,

we're always hearing that we are the biggest club in the world, i just want us to prove it one day.

the fact that we havent got that player to unlock defences at will is a bit embaressing, especially when you look at other teams round Europe or even around us in the premiership.

the fact that Rooney and Berbatov were the most prolifice partnership in the league doesnt really say that much if you think about it.

Anelka went through a long barren run,

Liverpool play with one up top as do Arsenal, Adebayor was injured for a large part of the season and Bellamy was played on the left too often. and quite frankly i expect us to be ahead of everyone else,

If Rvp had stayed fit all season or Arsenal had a decent replacement they wouldve beat us to second.

i expect City to spend as well as Spurs not to mention Chelsea, who will almost cetainly retain next season.

yes our GK is solid but he's also pushing 40

yes our defence is solid and is the only part of our team that doesnt need touching, which makes the Smalling transfer even more baffling as he's sh*t.

Our midfield is dependant on Hargreaves gtting back and Nani being able to recreat his excellent right midfiled performances on the left which isnt fair on him as he clearly prefer/looks more comfortable on the right. Fletcher is more than vital, Scholes plays too big of a role for someone who's career is winding down, ditto for Giggs, Carrick has sadly lost his way hope he regains form sharpish as i rate him quite highly, Gibson apart from the odd screamer i dont rate, Cleverly will be a long shot but i wish him the best, Park is park a work horse and real dog of war but we need more than that, and Anderson, who knows whats happening there.

if rooney's out we have to capable but very inconsitant srtikers in Owen and Berba, Macheda is exciting but un proven, and Welbeck looks like he'll be used to fill our obvious void at LM, Josh King's made out of weaker glass than Saha.

we sign a left winger an avoid any serious injuries we will chalenge, but sadly i feel the squad we have now isnt getting any better.

If the beting Barca gave us in Rome wasn't enough to tell us to go out and strenghten i dont know what is.

Fergie himself said to stand still in improving your squad means your moving backwards.

Smalling looks bobbins from what ive seen and Fulhams hastyness in selling him leaves me feeling uneasy, hopefully he'll come good,

Hernandez looks decent enough but as has already been said here, i can see hm being a Forlan and struggling a little here but doing the business elsewhere in Europe, surely theres a left winger knocking about for about 20 mill surely we can afford that,

partially linked question, how much do people think Roanaldhinio would go for now,

he could answer quite a few of our problems for the right price even despite him being 30

Fergie will probably let his son take Welbeck on loan for year instead of giving him Macheda or Diouf, SMH.

Would like to see Tosic given a chance next season but sadly he'll probably get sold.

SMH if we buy Milner for a transfer fee that could've bought Hamsik, Ozil or Gourcuff.

From what I can gather Tosic had quite a good loan spell. Just cant see Fergie giving him the chances.

Dont know how Fergie rates Macheda/Welbeck against each other.

SMH if we buy Milner for a transfer fee that could've bought Hamsik, Ozil or Gourcuff.

Tosic had a very good spell in Germany and came out publicly and said he wanted to stay there.

He's definitly gone, that was another baffling signing along with the Llajic saga and Diouf.

the difference between Milner and Hamsik Ozil and Gourcruff is that only one of them is proven in the premiership.

however with City supposedly getting ready to make a 30 million pound bid we can caount ourselves really out of that race.

saying all this though, Im sure the money that went towards Smalling, Diouf and Tosic couldve gone towards signing a proven player

sadly the fact that Welbeck was sent out on Loan was never a good sign.

ok But you d realise waiting till 13th June will make no differnce to anything right. especially as the Glazers will be aware of this plan. so its not like if Season ticket sales are slow up untill then they'll get itchy feet and sell up.

but anyway heres what the letter says.

Since the Glazers took over they have wasted £437m in fees and interest - more than the TOTAL ticket revenue (£398m) for the full 5 year period.

In other words, the money the Glazers have taken out could have paid for supporters to attend every game at Old Trafford free of charge for the last 5 years. On top of that, United could have given every season ticket holder £700 in cash too - and still the club would have been no worse off! This waste of OUR money has to stop.

With the Red Knights' bid expected before the World Cup kicks off, we need to make sure that the fairest possible price is paid for our club. Every pound that is overpaid is a pound less that can be immediately spent on debt reduction, player investment, and stadium expansion.

We have to act now in the best interests of Manchester United Football Club. It is now or never.

As a Season Ticket holder you have a crucial role in making this happen - but we need to know what you plan to do:

http://action.joinmust.org/power

The lump sum payment and the guaranteed ticket sales that the Glazers get from our Season Tickets are vital to their survival. One thing we will never do is dictate to supporters what they should do. This has to be a personal decision. However there are three options season ticket holders may wish to consider. We've listed them in order of increasing effectiveness:

1. Every supporter can delay renewing their Season Ticket until at least the June 13th deadline.

2. Until the Glazers sell, switch from season ticket to buying tickets on a match by match basis or watch at mass screenings or in the pub with your mates.

3. Until the Glazers sell, watch all games at mass screenings or in the pub rather than at Old Trafford

[You'll have spotted that there is a pretty obvious point 4 which could be made here. My sadness over MUST's inability to articulate it continues)

For those concerned about reclaiming a specific seat under new owners, MUST will be independently recording details to help supporters to request reinstatement of their specific Season Ticket seats the season after any takeover.

In case the Glazers are still here when next season kicks off, MUST is creating a Match By Match (MBM) Club. The MBM Club is for those supporters wanting to switch to picking and choosing the matches they buy tickets for on a match by match basis or to watch the games on TV or at mass live screening events.

The concept is simple - form an MBM group together with your mates and apply for tickets on a match by match basis only for the games you want to attend - that could be every game or none. For all the other games you can watch them together in the pub, at designated venues around the country, or at MUST mass screening events. The benefits of season tickets have been steadily eroded under the Glazers - including the effective loss of rights to away tickets and finals and the compulsory automatic cup scheme (ACS). Furthermore, there were empty seats at even the biggest games this season, and tickets for any match can be picked up without difficulty.

So what are you planning to do to get rid of the Glazers? Please tell us here:

http://action.joinmust.org/power

Best wishes,

Manchester United Supporters' Trust.

in short they are still sitting on the fence about whether to boycott or not, they have said enough so if a mass boycott happens they can take credit for it, but also if it doesnt happen they wont lose any face,

could be argued that they're being smart and guarded but i'd say they were gutless and unsure about anything.

i was against and baffled about the green and gold campaign and whjat it could achieve, but i've got to say it made for a amazing visual affect its just a shame it couldnt be followed up with somthing more meanigfull.

MUST in this email are calling for a boycott but they're to gutless to actuall come out and say so.

in the e-mail they twice ask supporters for what they plan to do and give the email adress for supporters to relay their plans, this has been done to gauge the possibility of a mass boycott, if the mass boycott is a popular choice among fans i expect MUST to come out resoundingly and say "lets Boycot its what we wanted to do all along"

however if a Boycot is laughed out of the arguement i expect them to come out and say "a boycot we never even considered boycotting it'd be detrimental to the club"

Most of MUST members dont have a clue about what they signed up for and did so to get a bit of leadership and guidence, well mission failed

the main part of the emial is the bit that half heartedly champions the idea of boycotting season tickets but buying tickets on a game to game basis. but of course the word boycott wont be used once for fear of a backlash, i mean god forbidd anyone have a meaningfull and usefull suggestion.

When I said wait until June 13th, I meant that if by then th Glazers are gone (which wont happen now, too far down the road for it to be even considered by that deadline) then I will renew.

As things currently stand im not gonna renew, Im tryna convince my mate and his old man who have got about 10 season tickets between them as well cos theyre unsure of what to do at the moment.

tbh all I can see happening is people waiting until the 13th, realising there isnt gonna be a bid from red knights, and then just renewing. that wont be me however.

you guys are all sleeping on our squad imo

i think we are 1 player off from having a side that can challenge

(no bane on what im about to do)

keepers are good not a VDS fan but he can do a job for us again this season

defence is more then solid

second best left back in the world... o'shea is a solid back up and fabio is coming through

two of the best center backs and good back ups in evans and brown also with smalling coming in and o'shea can play there i have no worrries

right back is one of our problem positions it seems he has a new 1st choice every season hopefully rafael can push on, brown has been our best right back in recent seasons and o'shea was alright 2 seaons ago as well as start of last season...wanna see as little as neville as possible tbh

Our strikers are not a problem even though some misguided people seem to think it is. Rooney-Berbatov was the most prolific strike force in the league last term and i know most people dont rate berbatov but his partnership with rooney is good and he gets more then enough goals for a second striker.... been reading up a lot on hernandez and this guy is going to be a star maybe not at united because lets face it our fans our sh*t and the media hate us so prob wont give him a chance just like forlan then we have owen and macheda in reserve its as good as the rest of the top 8 if not better

Where i think we will make our signing and where we need to is in midfield DEPENDING on the formation fergie is going to play if we go 442 he will buy another winger to support nani and valencia who will start the season first choice with Park as back up and giggs unfortunately for the bigger games

however he is more then likey to stick with 451/433 and will look to sign a central midfielder imo a defensive one (been linked with cambiasso) fletcher is the only player who will start the season as first choice if Carrick can regain his confidence then he can/will join or take fletchers place....we have hargreeves back and scholes is still getting his c*ck shined.....anderson is probably history hope not though guys class

so our squad aint that bad dont need a re haul 1 player in the right position(center mid) will do it.....

Agree with all of that apart from I think we need an attacking/forward thinking central midfielder. Someone in the sort of Fabregas/Milner/Sneijder sort of mould. Can't think of any off the top of my head that would be available/immediately good enough.

I also think we 100% need another striker. Without Rooney at the end of the season we didn't lookthe same going forward, Berba up front on his own aint working. So if we keep him we need another, wouldn't mind giving Benzema a chance.

so between the 2 of you you've worked out we need 3 players possibly

Winger

AM

Striker

Our defence is solid, but if Barca or real come in with big money 4 Vidic, the board will wanna cash in and he wont be completly against a move and that along with Ferdinands problems could leave us a mess.

Not to mention VDS is 40 this year.

if we were all being honest with ourselves we'd say we need about 4 players, its the financial situation and fergies bullshit comments that have us gassed up thinking were fine an only need one new face.

Fergie told us after the treble that we need to start competing with all the top teams in europe not jus our league the, barca have jus signed vila and look to be moving to cesc,

Whereas we've signed diouf and smalling
