Furthermore if we had Welbeck and he started against Blackburn away I reckon he would've scored

C/S I didn't understand them games either where he would start the old guard of neville, scholes, giggs in games where we needed legs and left out the andersons and rafaels

You DONT get experience without playing games if you want the total package sign them 4-5 years later rather then asap if your not prepared to develop them

IMO we have bought in too many players to even try develop them

Should be a priority of bringing through English players over foreign players but the Da Laets of the squad yeah hes a good average player but surely we can easily develop an English player of the same calibre but something is going wrong in the academy because we got to many championship players being developed people like Drinkwater, Hewson, Norwood etc none of them will make it

But with Ferdinand reaching the end of his career, Neville/Giggs/Scholes/VDS near retirement, Brown not getting any younger, Carrick reaching the end of his product life cycle and Owen/Hargreaves/Brown getting injured all the time

Time to have faith in the kids Welbeck should be our 3rd choice striker IMO he deserves that right

If he sends Cleverly, Welbeck. Hernandez, Obertan out on loan I am going to be so pissed off want them all in the first team next season and James the year after
