Traore you cunt, dont give Wenger ideas...

Armand Traore believes he could follow in Emmanuel Eboue's footsteps and make the transition from full-back to winger.Eboue made the right-back position his own during Arsenal's run to the Champions League Final in 2006 but has been pushed into a more advanced wide role since the arrival of Bacary Sagna last summer.Traore has made nine appearances for Arsenal at left-back this season but, in recent weeks, has operated on the wing for the Reserves. The role seems to suit the Frenchman perfectly - he is quick, skilful, can whip in a decent cross and has a fierce shot which has brought him three goals in eight starts for the second string. The 18-year-old's success on the left flank is no great surprise. After all, Traore's 'new role' is actually a return to familiar territory."It's my position originally in football so I kind of found myself normally in the left wing," he told Arsenal.com after an impressive performance in the Reserves' 5-1 win against Derby on Monday."I'm starting to enjoy playing there more and more and, yes, it's better for me."Arsène Wenger described Traore as "an adult in football" earlier this season and handed Traore his Premier League debut in the 1-1 draw with Liverpool at Emirates Stadium on April 5. So could Traore go on and 'do an Eboue' for the first team?"Yes, it's a possibility," he replied. "It's the boss' decision of course but if he thinks I could play in midfield for the first team then I would do it. I would be more than happy to do it."You don't have to defend as much [on the left wing] but the positioning is pretty much the same. Obviously I get to attack more and attacking is one of my strong points."

Who saw him play left wing against Derby reserves? Ripped their right back to pieces. His end product needs work tho but he's probably the most skillful player at Arsenal (please note I said most skillful not best dribbler).Think it's a good idea, I'd put him on the bench from now.

Smh.Eboue would be a shower man against Derby's reserves.
I wasn't using that game to measure his ability, Just reported what I saw.And Im not saying he's the answer to Rosicky's back up.Just wanna see him get a chance in that position @ Prem level to see what he can do.
