Starting life in another country

Who's thought of it/believe they're going to do it, with any real conviction? As oppose to just a passing fad. Or who is actually doing it or planning to do it seriously?Big step to move country, to somewhere where you know no-one. I admire people that do that, so easy to just stay in your comfort zone.Have thought maybe to travel for a year or maybe even a few, but very indecisive.Thoughts/views/experience?

I really wanted to move to America when I was younger but after going there and seeing what the quality of life is like it is not the one.America is not becoming a better nation but is becoming worse.Just look at the state of there currency and now they are starting to see food shotages in some parts.

I don't know if I could do it. When I'm elderly, I think perhaps I could, but I also have some need within myself to make something of myself here and be very comfortable before I attempt to live somewhere else. But only time will tell.

Yh exactly, thats why I dont think you can do it with that frame of mind of sorting yourself out first. If thats when you do it, you'll only be moving when you're elderly like Titan said. As responsibilities soon come, stuff you aint planned for.If you do it, gotta jus up and go. Id say upon finishing your degree is the best time to do it, if not maybe a year and save a lil P. Then progress your career abroad.

Moving to Africa somewhere near 2015. The mass amount of business opportunities and chances to make millions is really huge. The cost of living is incredible and the real estate opportunities are out of this world. the way africa is potrayed in the media you would think it's some village like place but actually going there to visit and see how fast the place is developing is mind boggling. For a mere £30000 you can build an MTV cribs style mansion with tennis court and swimming pool.

Deffo.Dont take a year out. because you will try and save money, and then if you have even a half decent job, you will become reliant on having that job.
