Swear you already said you had a scholarship time ago...
I had the offer made to me just over 9 months ago but it wasn't a full ride (100% paid for) so I still have to pay my bit towards in addition to back up money which I don't have (or didn't have) before...So it's more about being safe...

Right people, I need some advice. For those who don't know, I'm looking to reach a US college next year on a athletic scholarship but that ain't happening till july/August 2009 because I've had to raise enough funds to last me for years, lol...So to ensure I don't start my Freshman year at 22, I'm gonna do 1 year of university here in London then transfer...So now, I'm just waiting for Clearing to begin. I'm not really too fussed what university TBH, just as long as it's London and I don't have to live in dorms. For the year 2006/2007, I went Westminster University and did BA Commercial Music but that kinda flopped but I'm re-applying for a different course in a different department...I'm also looking at Roehampton & London Met. Anyone care to drop some info...Just bear in mind, I'm not really down for the experience. It's more about the practicality considering I've got football 2/3 days out of the week, I'll be working 18-24 hours a week plus other sh*t like gym...Help would be appreciated in addition to a lil' suhen on Clearing and the process...Thanks, Mike Kane loves you all....
Fam, its sounds like youre trying to fit uni into a already hectic schedule. When in actual fact IMO i dont think you can do that, i mean unless you dont really care about it. £3145 is abit to much money to not care though. Is it necessary for you to go for a year here? Its not that bad going to uni out in america at 22.
I know it ain't 'that' bad but TBH, I don't wanna be working full-time again and I'd rather be back in 'university mode' before I go so the adjustment won't be as hard...You might have a point though. My 1st year at Westminster flopped because I had a CRAZY busy schedule but looking back, time management probably f*cked me up more than having things to do. It's manageable and in the event that I DON'T go to the States, at least I'd have completed a solid year over in London and I can continue.

Also, with Roehampton, you're likely to spend more time out of it than in it (probably the same for all unis). Towards the end I only went there for one day a week for two hours.
