martin scorsese is sick like that, and also the music with the voice over as if he is reading what he is writing is amazingthe scene when he goes and shoots everyone is nuts, and i can never understand how he hailed a hero after doing itinfact im going to watch this tomorrow

Films I've seen recently:X-Files: A decent watch, but basically just a long and good X-files episode, rather than being a grand finale or some meaningful conclusion to the series. The Forbidden Kingdom: It was a massive kick to watch the two giants of Hong Kong cinema onscreen together, but it's a pity they finally collaborated on some Westernised shite. The action was solid. I really wanted some groundbreaking ish which would make me bug out at the awesomeness like with all the classic Jackie fights, but that didn't happen. These guys made a film together about ten years too late. Dark Knight: Nothing more needs to be said about this, it's masterful.Wall-E: Amazingly put together. Smelled a bit like green propaganda, but was still very enjoyable. Wall-E and Eva were likeable and funny, and the state of futuristic mankind was hilarious.Meet Dave: I went into this expecting it to be utter garbage, true to Eddie Murphy's recent form. But some of it was actually pretty funny. It's a U-rating, so most is disgustingly corny, but that's to be expected.Kung-Fu Panda: f*ck*ng awesome film. Loved it, I was cracking up throughout. Story is ordinary, but that's not the focus, and the comedy & action were amazing. Skidoosh.Hancock: Curious, marginally-uninteresting action film; which implodes into a wet shower of turd about halfway through, evaporating all remnants of sense in the process.
