f*ck BEYONCE.. where's her pride as a black woman.. the sh*t our people have gone through .. and she's there advertising Caucasian hair like its hers... f*ck HER.. obviously she has no pride .. she should be promoting black hair products instead of this bullshit ..[Kat Williams] SHE FORGOT SHE WAS A NIGGA, SHE FORGOT SHE WAS A NIGGA.. f*ck HER [Kat Williams]
Who are your people? what did they go through? Are you implying that caucasian hair is 'bullshit'?
i think his people are [whispers] black people.doubt he is saying caucasian hair is bullshit. more of her advertising caucasian hair & her pride of it like its hers thats bullshit. one thing to have a weave & like it and its another thing to have a weave and start believing its yours & denying you have beautiful afro hair
Oh right, his people are black people? so he owns all of them? they are 'his' people?Does he ven know what happened to 'his' people? oh, he read a book? nice one.
i think you are fighting a losing battle.if you are going to say that black people in general should not care about how they are represented in the media or how they were treated back then as slaves then you are just being very silly.a person might not have been there during slavery but it still affects you as a black person. i might not have been on a plantation but its pretty much still going to piss me off. back to the topic cause you just chose a very wrong deterrant & i don't want to start on that...if i am a black girl and i see that the only black people that are shown on tv (and we all know the media is VERY hard to ignore) are all made up and told beautiful is straight caucasion-like hair, beautiful is light skin, beautiful is size 0 that is defiantely going to affect me because i want to be beautiful too. they make the norm feel ugly & repulsive.you don't understand so don't undermine other people's views.the vampires bit is really stupid argument. what we are saying is they can't take a cat & put a trunk on it and call it an elephant. its still a cat. same way they can't take a black girl and try make her white she is still black and the only message that is sending is that 'we do not like black'
Black people shouldn't care TBH.Also, I don't see why slavery should piss you off?Because one day someone come along and told you something that happened a few hundred years ago you are going to start crying about it now?Do you know, in history, slaves existed before black people and slavery went on to exist after and I can assure you that black people were not treated the harshest if you differentiate between other slaves in history. It wouldn't surprise me if EVERY race has experienced slavery, one way or another so why act like you are the only victims? Now, as for complaining about 'black issues' in the media.. when are peole going to understand that the media is there to be contraversial. It is there to sell. Therefore, times like this, their businesses are booming because people seem to point out things like this. From the moment you said black this and black that you are already segregating yourselves. What's wrong with a black woman looking white? what's wrong with a white woman looking black?Do you honestly think that your skin is the philosophy to life? If so, you cannot be that profound.

i am not saying people should dwell in the past and be moody & pissed off about slavery. i am saying it is the hostory of black people & you can't say it has not affected anything!!! so i will not stand here and say "im not bothered about slavery." same way i am bothered about arpatheid and other ways of discrimination. might be present for every race but i will feel for my own. the media is there to be controversial?? oh ok.. but is it there to be discriminative? how in the world can you justify discrimination?why in the world would you want to make a black woman look white?? if there is a good reason behind it please fill me in.. because the only reason i can think of a black woman being made to look white is so that they don't look black as it is not seen as attractive enough?when has a white woman ever been made to look black? again what was the reason???segragating ourselves how??? because we know we are black? i am not talking about a black person should speak like this or dress like that.. that is segragating ourselves. i am saying if a black person has beautiful brown skin why should they deny it? that definately is not segragation now is it?????what makes a black person black? [for your last sentence]

Look at it from this perspective..1. Imagine yourself as a ball of energy occupied inside a human body..At this point you are equal to every other ball of energy inhabiting in a human body..equality truely does exist and is possible and this example proves it.2. Now, when people start defining themselves as different colors, heights, weights, cultures etc. this leaves room for discrimination because it forces a difference, therefore people will judge and they will give opinions. If you allow yourself to be a part of colours, heights, weights, cultures etc. then you allow yourself to be judged. If you see things in heights, weights, cultures, etc. then you too judge on these things and therefore you are apart of the game.Try seeing things from the no. 1 perspective and you will realise that truely, this magazine doesn't infact mean sh*t and life goes deeper than this photo.

Making something out of nothing... no where in that sentence did he say caucasion hair is bullshit... the idea of her advertising a caucasion hair product is BULLSHIT
Why? I don't think it matters. We are all human, we all have hair on our heads (well most of us) No doubt she got paid well, what's the problem? Are you going to tell me that actors can not be made up to look like vampires because they are simply not vampires?
1.Caucasion hair and afro are are two DIFERENT types of hair textures... which Im sure you're aware of.. so yes it DOES matter what product she advertises.2.Why would you advertise a shampoo product with weave in your hair?

i swear i would LOVE to live in your head. it makes life oh so freaking sweet and bliss.think about it this way..we are all the same in God's eyes or if you want if we get cut we all bleed & we all bleed red blood.but then as life has it we are all different according to races, skin colour whatever. i don't take it as a negetive at all. my skin makes me black, the same your skin makes you white (if you are). its nice to have different people. you can't always take it as a negetive.but by some bull crap some white people in the past decided to take it as a negetive. black people = baboons to them and therefore = slaves. then when all slavery came to pass still arpatheid. because those people chose to judge people by colour. NOT black people themeselves and definately not I.then later arpatheid kind of passed but still discrimination. because of my skin colour. NOT my choice again BUT because it has been hammered into society that black in inferior.discrimination is still there and don't even think for a second i think its just black people because by that general statement you make it seem like I think that injustice only happens to me or just black people.look at the jewish people. should i even get into that? they are NOT black but it was a result of their religion or culture or whatever.again i would LOVE this idea where life is all roses but face it IT'S NOT. history is f*cked up and the media is not helpingi am not obsessed with my colour but i do not ignore it and people around me whether black, white, puertorican or asian do not ignore it either. lets all be this BALL OF ENERGY but first off try convincing everyone then get back to me ya ya.
