Originally, No, but nonetheless he i still a class above me & youGenerally it is more WEALTH, than money, if you understand me.MONEY can come & go overnight, wealth is pretty much permanent. Its a status thing, and status normally comes from power, which almost always comes from money.

i think wokring class as a definition is out of date, when it was invented the class system meant that working class= unskilled, poor labour. these days u can be a labourer and earn more than ppl who have much better qualifications than u in a different field. Having said that a class system still definately exists here and it's no coincidence that shools in large working class areas are generally a lot worst than those in more affluent places.

In this countryThe Royal Family: Toppa toppaUpperclass: People with titles, Lords, Magistrates, etc..will normalyl have some kind of power policitics-wise & inherited wealthMiddle Class: People that will have high level uni degrees/a lower degree of inherited wealth, Lawyers, Judges, Doctors, Entrepeneurs, Important civil servantsWorking Class: Blue Collar motherf*ckers, I.E. everyone reading this now, people like bus drivers, admin people, shop assitants, builders etc etc..Underclass :Ashman, people on benefits, wastrels, immigrants..There are of course with in these classes, classes themselves, such as lower/upper middle-class but that is LONG to detail

^^^ Yeh this is the answer, I was about to post something similar, but no need now.But it is slightly more complicated cause professions like musicians and surgeons and sportspeople dont fit in.EG a surgeon is technically in a blue collar job because he is doing manual work, and footballers dont fit onto the list but they make millions, but tend to be from working class backgrounds - i think people like Rooney are working class but their kids are middle class.

It's about neither, it's purely about appearance.
Wouldnt say soYou can have the ILLUSION of having money, or the ILUSSION of 'good blood'But if it is found out otherwise, you are finishedMany people try to live the upperclass lifestyle but live beyond their means & have to sell their only daughter by way of marriage to keep their family name/heritage above waterYou can only blag so far, you can get away with Working class to Lower middle class, but not anythin higher than that.

Yeh true, now that Entertainers have climbed the ladder (whereas a long while ago, actors, comediens (jesters) etc would be looked down upon) they have created I guess a niche for themselves within the class systemThey are looked down on by the truly upperclass, people with supposed good bredding & good backrounds etc, but they are looked UP to by all of the under+middle classes, which is why they have POWER.& Any that talk sense are swiftly charachter-assasinated and made to look insane. But yes they are like 'New Money' within the class systemRaised from Working class Backgrounds, with Upper Middle Class money, but still frowned upon. (Look at any footballers Image in the media....)If you have seen Titanic, the Ginger Southern Woman, her husband struck oil so she was filthy rich, but because she was basically just a working class hick beforehand, all of the aristoctracy look down on her...This is liek these entertainersPeople with true status class wise will still have pwoer regardless of their money because not only do they have material wealth, they have political weath & affiliations etc everywhere, if a footballer loses his FUNDS, back to working class ignomany he goes.
