Torres is £20million though(we payed £2.5million for him scoring 30 goals aswell)thats a factbut moving up to £27million depending on major honours (CL+league title etc)
I dont dispute that. I know he is.My point is people will say "Torres was 20million" and "Milner was 15million" when Torres' price doesnt include addons but Milners does, if you get my drift.
ahh I seewhat people dont see is that if the add ons get paid it means the club has done something of noteso its worth it in the end[thread]
productive signing in the long term IMO and i don't even really rate milneralso, i don't think there is just 1 market any morethe market in the premier league between premier league clubs is totally different to a mixed european market(english club selling to a spanish club for EG)
well whoever laughed wen u signed them 3 were pretty stupid especially in the case of young, clear he would be a great player ages ago.as for this torres sh*t, no one knows 100% on here wot the price is so y is every1 actin like they doin and arguin like they do lool aimed @ no1 specific just its stupid that ppl r all doin it like they no wen they themslvs no they dont
JJ, just admit you got bumped ffs.Villa fans are forgetting that when Milner was on loan to them, he was a LOT more quicker.£12M rising to £15M for Milner, day light robbery. And Keegan acts like that for every player, since when have you ever seen him speak bad about any player. He was praising Barton not so long ago.
1) We paid the money, O'Neill has said he thinks we got 'very good value' for whatever it is we paid.2) Your manager has expressed several times how much he rates Milner and he has no intention of selling him. He thinks he will be an England international very soon.3) All credible media sources are reporting the figure between 10 and 12million but closer the 10million mark. (not including addons - but you are suggesting hes any guy so he will fail and we wont be paying these addons, will we?).4) You only get 75% of that money any way... So you could have as little as 7.5million from it the deal. (not including agents fees). So I don't really think you can say you bumped us when someone who was firmly in your managers plans has handed in a transfer request and given up 1.5million odd loyalty bonus to leave.
JJ you mans have got a good player there. He'll do well under the guidance of MON.Nice to see a Prem team investing heavily into young English talent.Hopefully Capello takes note.

C/S Every LineNewcastle was the wrong move for him in imoSeems like only yesterday when he broke into the scene with Leeds
12mil is a madnessNewcastle signed him for 5mil 3 or 4 years agoIMO in that time he hasn't really made much progress to warrant his value going up that much
