 Dont be silly nearly all genres do remixes with R&B vocals. The bassline producers are ripping off actual uk garage vocalsDips is saying it dont sound the same, yet they all have the same formula and do sound very alike (judging from all the mixes ive downloaded)Im open for someone to show me some examples of some tunes.

That KC & JO JO remix aswell, I know that breddah must have thought about the garage remix before he "Improved" it with a baseline twist. The thing is, I hate bassline because the producers don't know how to make a track that actually goes with the vocals, like that make a beat and vocal it and it all sounds completely wrong. Also, baseline is crap. But, at least with these HtwoO/Platnum people their beats do kinda go with the vocal, but not fully if you get me?

it's because if u have a vocal track the focus is on the voice - it drives the song and provides the melody, the other parts should normally harmonise, unless ur using call and respnse or have a solo in the middle 8. In a lot of bassline tracks the bass takes up a lot of the mid range as well as the bottom end and therefore interfere with the vocals. It does work better if the vocals are written for the track rather than the other way around.

Not really.Making a vocal song for a beat shouldn't be the case. They should work hand in hand.Baseline producers don't know what they are doing.Having a stupid sounding sound and base with a vocal that sounds like it goes on a different type of music doesn't make it at all.

The way your going on is every Bassline producer is the same. There are producers who do know what they are doing and being original. Some are just wacking out crap remixes to make a few quid..I don't listen to load of bassline but Witty boys productions really stood out for me. Dubmalitia making bangers as well.

not i said "these artists" not "all artists", stop being so fast to jump on the defensive..Does it piss you off that these guys are getting shine (mtv, kiss, channel u), whereas the more original ones aren't?Giving bassline a bad name?
Nope, i dont pay any mind to these artists. I just listen to who i listen to. The real sick bassline producers still get there props at raves / among the community
Come better than that, is all I will sayBassline producers do not rely on samples nor a 2-Step influenced beat
Some do, not all

Wide boys make every tune sound the same. They are crap, all their electro mixes sound the same and also their baseline sound the same. You can't tell me someones a good producer when their banging out the same beat, just a different few twitches made. Most baseline is the same formula, waaaa waaa zehum zehum waa waa, allow it, thats deadout.
