Scaff monkeys are crazy guys. You'd be surprised how many o them work smashed off their faces on coke. And don't care when there's missing guard rails, toeboards etc. Absolute nutters.

Yup, they're fucking mentals
You're not like them Lemons you're too lower middle class like me
my bredrin used to bring home about 2-8grand a month in commision
been taken out with his boss for dinner and shit just a few months ago as the top sales breh
he flopped last two months and just been fired.
he's in a twist cos it was sort of 'tax free' so if he goes tribunal or to report them he will still owe IR thousands in tax and face a fine himself.
pissed. has two kids as well
he's an idiot
he should have just registered himself as self employed
if he pisses anyone off, there are so many people that will be quick to through him under the bus and shop him to the hmrc, benefits office etc
He's quite clearly employed. Self employed isn't just a title you make yourself. Even with a shell company ir35 would have had him defined as an employee
Ahh man, I checked the Google graduate jobs list 2 weeks ago and it said nothing for London. I check now and it says "open for applications 11th August - 11th September". Bah!
Heard back from British Gas, They told me unfortunately the position closed and that no one got the job but they could have offered it to me otherwise. I got 11/12 in the assessment.
I'm positive, I'm not even on a downer. The woman I have dealt with the whole time gave me some info on the next job opening and told me if she can she will pull a few strings since this interview went so well and she felt bad. It's not as good of a position(or money wise) but it may get my foot in the door of a good company to work for.
So in the next few weeks when it comes online she told me to ring her on her number and she'll bypass the online application and put me straight on to the interview, she said if she knows the manager she will try and sort out a little one on one chat with just me and her instead of the full assessment with the manager present.
If not I will have to re take the assessment with the patch manager there but she reassured me that if I use my notes from the previous interview I won't have a problem.
Really want to leave my job , if it weren't for the young people there I would have left time ago...place full of snakey managers/section leaders.
Yeh exactly the same boat here.
I should be goin harder with the job search on my days off but i get excited and do nothing, plus im not even sure where to start. Need to buckle down tho cause I can't see my current job lasting unfortunately.
The guy at Brogan Group said they might have a few positions for labourers, maybe it's worth getting the Health and Safety anyway, even if you do choose not to go that route in the end.

would probably make a lot more money tbh
if you can secure permanent work
and that is a big IF
best to do an apprenticeship and then set up your own business...that way you can secure your own contracts
working for someone else might mean you only work summer months
my good bedrin does this and in summer he is caking up to a grand a week but in winter he has to have a part time job.

What does a recording studio technician do?
I've been working as a pretty much a assistant engineer for a fair amount of the summer but I wanna know if 'technnician' works better for me.
