M.Dot Posted August 4, 2009 Report Share Posted August 4, 2009 Italy>_________Last series of games we played was so frustrating.I ended up playing dumb lol.See how I was getting frustrated that my players wern't holding it up against yours, being bullied like never before and not being able to beat the man literally everytime...it just made me more determined to beat each individual player but it wasn't happening at all and it was f*ck*ng me up coz even if I got half a yard on you I'd still get tackled in the next few seconds.Was only towards the end of them games where I realised I was being an idiot, started playing that 'master league' way again, trying not to let your players get anyhere and it was only then that I started to look like doing something against you. Next time we play WILL be different cos I won't be trying to find a way to beat the players like last time.Italy are actually f*ckED though more than I even realised. But I think your defence >> my defence though with the additions you made they're even faster but just as strong.Was looking to play clubs today but other things came up. But I think your defence >> my defence though with the additions you made they're even faster but just as strong.Was looking to play clubs today but other things came up.Yeah I'm looking to improve a few things though so that they are beasting all over.Need to perfect tactics and certain runs.Defensively I just need to adjust my shape so that the switch ball IS NOT ON.Nice that you're being frustrated though for more than a game or two.The one thing I've liked is being able to vary my play more with Italy, which is key against you.Next set of games will be interesting, I'm looking to prevent a backlash and then frustrate so that I see a 2nd string Juventus team again:lol:All about winning the 1st game or 2 so that you think nothing has changed. Every now and again I just felt to break a leg coz things wernt going my way lol... but I held back sometimes. I didn't realise Iaquinta was as fast as he is until I saw him actually pulling away from Sissoko.Towards the end I started targetting certain areas coz I KNOW not all of them are stronger than my players.I've always said that I'd never change how I play no matter who I'm against so it says alot now that I HAVE to do things different otherwise I'm just getting dominated from start to finish(By italy anyway). At one point I felt to change team.I noticed the vary in the play, I'm seeing different things where before certain times I knew what the next move was.Edit: lol at me talking about little things I noticed about the games. Need to keep that quiet until after the next games before you change up. *Deletes paragraph*2nd string I was gonna do it at 1 point but I thought lemme stick with them, apart from the 1 match I had Sissoko and Zanetti in midfield with Tiago on the left... stopped short of putting Del Piero on for amauri.If I could do that starting line-up glitch a few months back I would never have left Italy... pissed now lol. Great example of stats aint everything.As sick as Totti is, I'm considering using somebody more balanced and dynamic to add that extra man to my defensive shape but I don't know if I will lose a lot going forward.I felt confident going forward.I think I might test it out now then see if I feel better about it before I try it against you.*Goes online* Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
