A. Not surprised. 2 of his best friends play there...B. I love this guy, but he isn't indispensable.
lmao at tulse and I disagree that he isn't indispensable.I think Fabregas means more to Arsenal than any other player in the top four does to their team. He's the real leader, the pivotal point of play in your team and he seems to be the man who bonds the team together. When he doesn't play the same spirit and togetherness doesn't seem to be there.I may be the only one who thinks this though.

We were saying the same about Henry, Vieria etc...I think the Centre of the park we have a few options coming through that should make good.In terms of him going back to spain, any player from oversea's, all perm teams should at one point think to themselves that they will want to go back home at some point. Some clubs and fans need to get real, we cant keep hold of erm for life, come on man.

When I heard it didn't surprise me at all.We let Hleb and Flamini go and we've only really replaced flamini. Cesc is loyal but he wants to see the club moving forward I mean were doing worse than we were doing this time last year (early days yes) but the way Chelsea are playing, Man Utd picking up the pace and dare I say liverpool flying were seriously looking like we're aiming soley for 4th this season

^^^^ Fran Meridia is next in line for Cesc
Nah, he's older then Ramsey & is still in the reserves.Wenger said he see's Wilshere as a CM or AM in the future aswell so he's probably ahead in the pecking order also.Cesc is just trying to keep everyone on there toes anyway plus he was talking to spanish radio so he probably felt the need to speak nice about Barca & Hleb.

Cesc really doesn't seem happy, we need to buy in January otherwise he could be off in the summer:

"Our squad is a bit short on numbers and we are very young," he said. "Behind me there is Denilson, who is 20, or Alex Song who is 21. Theo Walcott is 19 and Samir Nasri 21. "It's hard to imagine a midfield where I am the oldest member. "We find it very hard to win matches, as we do not possess enough experience. "I scored 13 goals last season but then I had plenty of allies. Tomas Rosicky (injured) was around, Mathieu Flamini (now at Milan) covered every blade of grass and Alexander Hleb (who went to Barcelona in the summer) was like a brother to me out there. "The team played with a lot of skilful touches, we were as solid as a brick wall and our opponents would not get a look in. "Now none of those players are in the side and I feel like a rare being. We are more defensive-minded and sturdy as a team but we don't play so much skilful stuff."

CESC FABREGAS last night insisted: Arsenal’s young guns are the envy of the world. The Spanish midfielder believes boss Arsene Wenger is right to stick to his youth policy and says the Gunners still have the quality to challenge for the title this term.Fabregas, 21, said: "Arsene has built an unbelievable squad here."Yes we do have a lot of young players. But they have all shown they can handle it at the top level in the Premier League and the Champions League."We’re the envy of every other club and it’s so exciting to be a part of that."It’s hard to imagine I’m one of the oldest players at the club now."But it will be a privilege to help guide some of these youngsters through."The future is bright."Players like Denilson, Theo Walcott and Samir Nasri have shown real class and I’m positive we have the quality to challenge for the title."Arsenal’s young team have lost to Hull and Fulham this term but at other times have shown a maturity beyond their years. And despite losing several more experienced players in the summer, like Alex Hleb and Mathieu Flamini, Fabregas has hailed boss Wenger for putting his trust in his emerging stars.Wenger’s policy has reaped dividends recently with Walcott, 19, proving he is international class, while 17-year-old Aaron Ramsey starred for Wales Under-21s this week.Fabregas added: "I’ve complete trust in the manager’s policy."Arsene is the best at giving youngsters a chance. No one else comes close to him for that."He doesn’t care how old you are, as long as you are good enough, and has the confidence to give young players a chance."Anything said to the contrary is simply not true."I’d like to reiterate to all Arsenal supporters that I’m 100 per cent behind the team and manager."Fabregas broke his nose while playing for Spain on Wednesday but Wenger hopes he will be able to face Everton tomorrow.
