Wow I didn't even know that BBC were on that sh*t aswell.
Its down to legality and rights etc.

But look....Terrestrial TV in the UK is free, apart from the license fee for the BBC right?but its the same deal for 4OD etc... If its FREE to watch for people in the UK, why is it not the same or available to people outside the UK...Surely, as a program maker, you want the biggest audience to enjoy your work???

no...they want the biggest audience to watch as long as theyre gettin paidbbc make their own programs and if they want ppl outside of the UK to watch and channel has to pay for itif anyone outside the UK could watch theyre programs for free then they wouldnt make any money

yeah free coz its already been on tv in the UKwhy should we pay for something thats been on tv alreadyit hasnt been on tv in the US (for example). if it was available in other countries for free on the internet then closes off a possible revenue streamand with channel 4 im sure coz if im correct they dont make their own programs. they might just hold exclusive rights to the programs made by production companiesand if thats the case then its still them same situation for bbc
