can imagine nigeria doing it with a £70 million budget and when the ting gets built it looks like a flashy tin foil can then when u look at expenses most of it would of been spent on adminstation fee cost
this is not priority for nigeria or any third world country, admin cost is more like corruption cost

India is already getting a return on it's space venture by launching satellites from other countries. The Indians have come along and undercut nasa & the ruskies by launching it for $50 million. Yes, millions are poor but it is more due to mis-management. Atleast the Space sector in India is doing well. It's benefits will be visible only in the long term. You cannot be short sighted and only think of temporary benefits. This success will allow the government to pour more money into it's more efficient sectors. It creates jobs, over all it Inspires a nation and pushes its young to pursue science and engineering which is needed for the development of the nation.Cannot believe some of the posts in this topic, then they wonder why Africa is lagging so far behind.
