From what I've heard its a motive,dont really like europeans like that but swedish gal>  Christiania is in Denmark but yeah it's cool.  Not sure what it's like with weed for tourists these days cos I know they were trying to crack down.  Just stay in Copenhagen and pay a visit. Was staying in Branqueira in an absolutely beautiful private property owned by my missus aunt . My first time there, was nice. Having someone you know live there means you can avoid all the overly tourist areas.  Went to some nice peaceful beaches. Also made the trip down to Albufeira to see how bad it was, it's basically little England down there. Lots of mainly Brits with some scots and Irish. lots of trashy nightclubs and bars.
