The positive test was during out of competition testing, so the only way DC would instantly be inclined to anything is if the drug tests from the fight were positive, even then with DC being a proud type of guy, i can't see him wanting to get anything that way.

I couldn't care less what Jones gets up to in his personal life but what this case does flag up is the double think and double standards of the UFC

Nick Diaz gets one type of treatment for Weed and Jones gets praised after going to re-hab for Coke.

Test was in Dec, sorry but them drugs there are giving man advantage cutting weight/training harder when his body wants to stop. To say it doesnt have an impact on Jones performance in the fight (3rd Jan) is shortsightedness in my opinion.

Peeps have raised a point about the Diaz ban, was that test post fight or something?

UFC Light Heavyweight Daniel Cormier, who lost to Champion Jon Jones at UFC 182 on Saturday night, spoke with MMAJunkie.com about Jones testing positive for cocaine and entering rehab. He said:

"At the end of the day, it doesn't change the result of the fight. It's more sad than anything. It doesn't make me feel better to have lost against a guy who was doing drugs."

Cormier also talked about what he's been doing since the loss:

"It's lay down in bed and think about the fight over, and over and over again. It eats at me. I see everything he does; I see all of his social media jabs at me and everything. And I welcome them, and I will use them as motivation to rebuild myself. I'm very aware, but very disappointed, in the fact that I didn't accomplish this goal."

Was Nick Diaz busted with an in-competition test? I can't remember and it's important to make that distinction because this is why NSAC haven't done anything and the UFC would be only following the NSAC.

Having read round it's worth noting that people have been calling for a WADA level of testing for a while now but when JJ busts for something that WADA wouldn't penalise for people want stricter punishment. You can't have it both ways, unfortunately.
