Fedor is ridiculous though How can man's only loss come at the BEGINNING of his career due to some accidental cut and stay undefeated for the following 30 fights?Brock's probably the only person in the heavyweight division that can possibly match up but Fedor will most likely get man to tap out

They don't usually get that much I don't think. This is either the start of slightly better payouts or most probably splashing out more money just because it's a big event. Don't understand why Mir would only get $45,000 for a main event title fight though?

Dana just wants Fedor for at least one fight so Brock can beat him and be crowned the true undisputed championhope this doesn't happen
I'm not sure about thatLorenzo Fertitta said the UFC plan to spend more money marketing Fedor than any other fighter they have marketed before. They want to bill him as the Michael Jordan/Tiger Woods/Roger Federer of mixed martial arts (which to an extent he is).

The most f*cked up thing about that loss is it was under the rules where no cuts are acceptable. Under normal rules, the bout would have been able to continue. He then absolutely wrecked the dude in the rematch.I'm putting money on Fedor winning if this goes down...

I reckon they are saying all that Fedor stuff to entice him to sign a contract If Fedor comes in and wipes up all the HW division it'll mean that all the Former Ufc H/W world Champions wern't really the best, However if Fedor comes over and gets his arsed kick people may start thinking UFC was always the premier mma organisation its like when Chuck went over to Pride and got beat by Rampage, it discredits the organsiation he's representing especially as Rampage didn't even win the tournament whether rightly or wrongly this is how some people will look at it.

UFC would need some serious hype machine to pull that off tbh While it's probably warranted, the guy looks like a generic polish builder guy exudes ZERO charismaIf UFC wanna build a marquee name marketing a fighter Brock is easily their best bet, he'll do most of the work himself..not to mention his career in WWE has meant he's really able to articulate himself better than most other fighters Oh yeah also if Brock actually manages to beat Fedor then I'm sure UFC would choose to bill HIM as 'THE guy' of MMA

“I’m very thankful for Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta from the UFC and I’m glad that me and Dana (White) kind of got to brush each other off. We may not still like each other or whatever but we came to amends — which is awesome. I gotta thank Strikeforce for giving me an opportunity and I want to thank Affliction for giving me an opportunity.”–Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and current Zuffa exile Tito Ortiz tells TapouT Radio that while he still won’t be exchanging Christmas cards with the UFC President, he and Dana White have patched things up after many years of back-and-forth squabbling. “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” has always had a amicable relationship with the Fertittas — is it possible that Lorenzo flew to Huntington Beach to reclaim the surgically repaired 205-pound star like his did last month with Mirko Cro Cop? And with UFC 103 still needing an opponent for rumored headliner Rich “Ace” Franklin, could they shock the world of MMA by pairing him up with a new and improved Ortiz? Opinions please.
