Blackstock Posted February 20, 2009 Report Share Posted February 20, 2009 Live with the girls.Cooking/cleaning will be done thoroughly, then just go and see your friends on a day to day basis.Plus theres always the possibility of sex with the females.lol at this post, at uni from my experience and everyone else I know, its the boys that will be doing the cooking most of the time, unless you count cereal and soup (for the girls(alot of them)), also boys bathrooms >> girls bathrooms, we jus sh*t,shower,piss etc, girls batrooms have a whole leap of shite all over the place, add to that hair all over the shower/floor. Paid a tidy little sum, nothing too expensive.But we're talking, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, dryer, garage, en suite for master bedroom, as well as an extra shower downstairs etc.More or less fully furnished. Go there now and the place is filthy, I don't live there but it still pisses me off makes me want to spark each and everyone of them. If an unclean drum results in you sparking someone cold then go with the ones that you think are clean but also ones that you feel no way to tell them if they made a mess. Like last year it got real ugly for a guy I know. He was bringing through a different girl regularly and one of his female housemates saw this and didn't like it. One day he had one ting in his room while he was downstairs getting a drink for her. He comes back upstairs and he sees the housemate coming out of his room. He walks into the room and sees the link putting on her shoes, fixing her hair and everything else like she's about to leave. He finds out the housemate said something to her along the lines of "You're not the first girl he's seen today and probably not even the last". When I heard this story I was thinking this bitch is obviously messed up in the head. The guy was probably only downstairs for a few mins. Either she just happened to be walking past his room and saw he wasn't in there or she had her ear to the door waiting for him to leave the room. Judging by how f*cked this girl was in her head I think it was the second.Just wanted to share that story really, I really doubt this will happen to anyone.You need to let these housemates know the level from the beginning. This guy obviously did not and that is why he got taken for a prick.The end.c/s this is a life lesson not jus a housemate lesson.Showing them the levels from early doesn't always work. Sometimes it can make you look like a prick because you are going nuts and threatening to headtop guys because they finished off your bacon (true stories) but they all play dumb. You are the only one who lost. If you are a hit first talk later kinda guy then it may work, but it also may result in you getting reported and in sh*t over minor sh*t. Some people are safe, adn some are not. With halls it's the luck of the draw. I find if you can't hot them up and get respect earnt, just do what they do and eat their food. I used to go through my housemates cupboard in front of him and take his sh*t adn use it adn leave it around the kitchen. Opening guy's Pepsi bottles. They couldn't do me anything so it was nothing. I've seen certain friendships collapse because they lived together and couldn't hack eachother. I think thats' mainly an issue though in a house of more than two people.
