Its nothing to do with being sucked, in fact i don't think Strapzy has beeen touched this year he don't put himself in the position to be. I'm not saying Strapzy is a complete and uttter wasteman, but he chats bare sh*t in his bars, he hasn't got ratings in Blue Borough, and 99% of his bars are fabricated, the people he associates with are not even bad as well. Same with Krept, these guys need to broaden their content cause they're a bag of liars, fair enough if someone like Giggs wants to talk gun talk cause he knows people and his got the family to back it up, but artists like Strapzy and Play Dirty need to start talking about other stuff as well, it will only make them better as artists. cs this piece / i dont really wanna get into it about dese man but it is peak being a rapper in 2010 someones always gonna want to test you cant slip. staying indoors is strapzys best bet tbh, krepts a good guy, got his head on his shoulders knows what hese doing fam. Mrs Michael, 50, was grazed by a bullet and Mr Ned intervened but was fatally shot as he tried to defend his wife. Mr Ned was hit in the chest in the attack and died at the scene as paramedics tried to revive him. Police are investigating whether Mr Ned’s stepson, an up and coming rap artist known as Konan, was the gunman’s intended target. CROY Hero dad died shielding family from gunmanThe scene in Thornton Heath Yesterday Konan told the Croydon Guardian he was a reformed gangster but insisted this attack was not gang-related. Speaking about her husband, Mrs Michael said: “He made me laugh a lot, every day. I think that is priceless and you cannot buy that sort of love.” The gunmen stormed into his family home at about 2.30am, making their way upstairs to the bedroom where Mrs Michael and Mr Ned had just woken. Bullets flew through the hinges of the doorway, one injuring Mrs Michael, as Mr Ned desperately tried to stop the attackers entering the room. As the horrifying ordeal unfolded, Mr Ned was shot once before the masked attackers fled. There have been no arrests at this stage. KonanKonan Tearful Mrs Michael, a mother-of-two said: “If [Mr Ned] saw someone harassing someone else he would always help out. He did not even think about it. “He used to say ‘The only thing you are sure of in life is death, so what is the worst that could happen?’” Jennifer Morris, Mrs Michael’s best friend and neighbour, who ran to the house to help in the aftermath of the shooting, said: “He loved his wife and she was in danger, so he went into action. He was really brave. “I was in bed when my phone rang and it was Donna saying she needed me to come round – he had just died. The paramedics could not help him. “The first thing Donna said was ‘What am I going to do without Carl? How can I cope without him?’” Investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector John Crossley said: “Two men, who were armed and had their faces covered, entered the house and fired a number of shots.” Two men fled the scene in the direction of London Road. One is described as being 5ft 2in, light-skinned black man and the other as being about 5ft 9in. Gang connection denied The man believed to be the target of a fatal shooting in Thornton Heath claimed he was not a gangster. Konan, a 21-year-old rapper, admitted having been part of Gipsy Hill gang Gipset, but claimed he “stopped all that years back”. He said: “That is all rubbish. I left back in 2005.” Konan, part of rap duo Krept and Konan also known as Play Dirty, said he was trying to “elevate” himself through music and that the attack was not gang- related. Believing himself to be the real target, the death of Mr Ned has weighed heavily on Konan, but he said he was trying to carry on with his music. He said: “I have to stay strong for my mum and carry on doing what I’m doing.” Play Dirty were in talks with several record labels and have been featured on prominent music radio stations Rinse FM and BBC 1Xtra.
