Lancome Definicils is a pretty good mascara for a more natural look, also is waterproof (and yes it works).Giles did you use a basecoat? I hate it when my nails get stained, try soaking your fingers in lemon juice then scrubbing like a crazy woman. If it really wont budge then peroxide.

Well i've decided to completely avoid lash extensions forever from now on after my experience, but im going to start using strip lashes again soon i think for evening/nights out. I usually use the Eyelure ones, cant remember what number i use but they are quite long at the same time as looking natural, havent found any other lashes that i like really!

i use maybelline volume express, only because it has a curved brush which i like. it doesn't really do anything for my eyelashes except make them black. i might try the colossal volume or the lancome one that kaygee recommended, but dip my maybelline brush in it. for some reason i always end up poking myself in the eye if i don't use a curved brush

Thanks for that! Maybelline it is! I used to use a wet and wild one which was excellent but i think WnW got discontinued or something over here.I was wondering about lash extensions too, i tried falsies once, i got them done at the hairdresser but they fell out after one night- i did like the look. I just cannot put them on myself- which is really bad

NOOOOOOOO do NOT get lash extensions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had some done in April, i had thick long lashes before i had them done (no idea why i felt i needed extensions) and when they were removed half my eyelashes came with them, had hardly any lashes left at all, bald patches, everything :(Its taken until now for them to grow back and they still aren't fully what they were, i still have a few spikey bits growing so hopefully they will go back to how they were originally, but personally i would avoid it at all costs, they are such high maintanance, they fall out gradually over the weeks anyway so after the first few days they begin to look unkempt, i found them really annoying aswell, i was constantly aware of them.Maybe that was just a bad experience but i have heard several horror stories since about extensions, i personally would avoid them at all costs.

Oh mega c/s.Good full eyebrows just transform the face!! People seem to be scared of using a pencil.. i think its because of the old typical drawn on eyebrow of just a thin line. I prefer using a pencil to lengthen and fill in my brows but just using a eyeshadow the same colour as your natural brow works well too.The trick is to draw small strokes (not a line) so you get the natural effect. What brow pencil do you use Ella?

Lash extensions can be great if done well.. however i would never recommend for general use. Maybe if your going on holiday or something. The lashes are glued to your own lashes so they should fall out when the lash naturally falls out... thats what they say.. thats not entirely true. The false lash is too heavy for the natural lash and will cause it to fall out before its time, consequently leaving you looking abit bald in the lash department. This differs from extremes - QB had a horrible experience while other people i know who had them said they lost a few more lashes than usual but overall would probably do it again.I believe it all depends on the person so maybe its just one of those things you have to try out and see how you like it. If you hate them make sure you get them removed properly as pulling them out will obviously rip more and more lashes out.

that's exactly why I never used brow pencils. Those wonky-tadpole style-surprised looking eyebrows I saw growing up frightened me.I use the Sleek one.

Benefit Brow Zing is pretty good, i switch between that and a MAC pencil. The brow zing is a powder and a wax, if i use it i generally just use the waxy side as i find it looks more natural than a powder on the skin. It lasts forever aswell, i think ive had mine 2 years and still got a good 4months left in it. Im after something new i might try the Sleek one.

I have the Rimmel eyebrow definer in brown, i'm still getting the hang of using it properly as one eyebrow is longer than the other and i got a bit over zealous when plucking my brows recently and took away too many and was left with them looking a bit dodgy lol, but it does the job and only cost me a couple of quid!

girls can anyone help?lately I've been painting my nails and after they've dried they have all air bubbles underneath and it looks awful!I thought maybe the varnish was too thick so I thinned it out with remover, it dried easier but half an hour later...more air bubbles. What the hell is it it's so random :sNail varnishes I've used are collection 2000, Rimmel and Barry M
