Queen Bee Posted July 30, 2010 Report Share Posted July 30, 2010 lol i get so disappointed when i get excited about a new mascara, go out and buy it and once i get it home its nothing special.Aside mascara foundation has to be my least favourite item of make up to purchase, i swear i have NEVER found one that suits my skin tone, i either look a bit orange or it makes me even paler than i already am, for the meantime ive given up and im using a tinted moisturiser and to be honest that works better than any foundation ive tried, the end result makes my make up look better overall. Only downside is when i go out at night, it sweats quicker than foundation :D/By the way Kaygee ive been trying out the different eyeshadow techniques u told me about and ive decided my favourite is purple smokey eye with some black kohl liner smudged on my lash line, only takes a few minutes to do and it looks really nice, so thanks! I have a pencil liner that i use for when i want to smudge it for smokey eye, but when i want a really dark line i use gel liner, it comes out really dark and doesn't smudge or slide off, and its much easier to use than a liquid liner if ur like me and dont have a steady hand. I say ish because i hate foundation lips. A colour a few shades darker and a gloss will look good. Light smokey eye with winged liner and some lashes. I must be mega lazy my mascara takes me 2mins. I do one coat and let it get tacky then go in with a second coat to separate them and wiggle from the roots for volume.Are your lashes short?/QB the purple smokey is one of my fav's if i bother with eyeshadow too, bit different but still easy and looks good.
