Average prices are between £40-£90 (depending on areas and salons), what i meant is £80 is top end so they should be good.. but with shopping around you would find a full set cheaper but maybe not as good.Edit -Id go more by the refill price as the £80.00 is a one off.

oh, and incase anyones interested, one beauty product i swear by is african black soap, i use it for loads of things, ive got fairly sensitive skin but surprisingly i use it as a facewash and ive never had any funny reaction to it, although i have to make sure i moisturise after using it because it really dries my skin out, its also really good if u get shaving rash ,apparently you can use it on your hair if you get dandruff aswell. just thought i would share that!
C/S amazing stuff.Where do you buy yours? I order a 10 oz block from Coastal Scents along with 1lb of the unrefined Shea butter. $8 for the soap and $8.49 for the butter.$29.00 for Fedex priority delivery (2days) or obviously if you are willing to wait its cheaper.
Defo looking into that.Pastel colours for summer>>>>

only just seen this, i get mine from Paks, its obviously not as good quality coz i get it dirt cheap in there, i might get some from Coastal Scents soon though as i've decided to get the 88 palette from there coz i havent found anything else that compares to it in the uk. Did you say you have it? Would you recommend the matte or the shimmer one?

Yea i have the matte version, its ok i mean nothing special but for the amount of colours its well worth the money. Good pigmentation and formula.I would recommend matte only because shimmery bright colours can look abit too much but that obviously it comes down to personal preference.

To be fair thats because they are a bugger to get rid of. Like someone else said they are mainly hereditary so if youve been 'blessed' with them your more than likely to suffer your whole life.. some products claim they will reduce the dark appearance, im yet to find any.

I'm gonna have to swallow my pride and go crawling back to MAC. Nothing's working for me anymore. Because of the weather, I went back to using liquid foundation, but I've got really oily skin, and it's just not cutting it. Now, I was trying out maybelline's dream satin liquid, and the colour is okay-ish match for my skin, so I thought I'd buy the same shade in the dream matte mousse.I'm not impressed.I feel like a redder version lil Kim.I'm going to have to go back to my trusty studio fix. I'm stuck though because the MUA told me to get NW50 but I think it might be too dark. when I was wearing it I was getting loads of WTF stares from my mum. I've got yellow undertones, but NC50 looks way too light.

i was just about to come in here and talk about mac, i need a new studio fix foundation it literally has been saving my life the last couple weeks the way my complexion looks pale and washed out kmt at this weather.hmm at what you were sayin about the NW50 does mac make up foundations for you according to your skin tone? that would be good you should go back and enquire.

Kaygee I need a real life friend like you seriously
c/s, i've learnt a lot from this thread and kaygee's blognot really to do with makeup, but if anyone suffers from dark circles i recommend Dr Nick Lowe's Dark Circles Correcting Cream. it's a bit pricey (£11 from boots) but definitely worth it, i have tried so many different eye creams and this is the only one that has actually made a noticeable difference. he does a really good on-the-spot blemish gel as well.
Thanks girls, I am a true geek I could talk about makeup and beauty all day.I'm also gonna try that eye cream because my circles are terrible and I'm yet to find anything that works even a little bit.
i 4got what this thread was about so i clicked on the last page and stumbled across this postbut out of curiosity wat on earth are u talkin about wen u say dark circles, are u talkin about black eyes and bags under the eyes as a result of lack of sleep?again just curious
mainly it is hereditary
Had my girl bring this to me from England LOL at how diet the amount is, they even have some little thing in the box to hold it there, the box is like twice the size. Saying that when I started using it I noticed you hardly need to use any. Have seen no difference been using for 2 weeks? How long did it take till you saw noticable difference?
sorry i haven't looked in this topic for a while. it took me around 2 and a half months to notice a difference. it wasn't a miracle cream but it definitely did do something, and other people noticed not just me. you're right, the amount is a bit stingy; mine lasted me around 3 months then i bought another one.bought that new garnier tinted roll-on like a pleb, even though i knew the old one was sh*t. the new one is even worse - the colour is too watery for a concealer and it leaves little bits under your eyes when you rub it in. never again

agreed, that would be a wicked presentit depends on what sort of make up she wears or how she wears it really, but i always liked YSL make up if its for presents or im splashing out on myself, my favourite ever lipgloss is made by them, its just gold glitter but it looks amazing, but yea would need to know what sort of make up she likes

Il start by saying never ever buy a ready made makeup set.Brushes are always a good present if she doesnt have them.. depending on the type of makeup she wears i can recommend which brushes she would benefit from. Its hard with makeup because colours and textures suit different skin colours and types, then it comes down to personal preference whether she likes to be bold or go with neutral shades. What is her skin colour?

ma bad for the delayed response. ummmm her skin tone, tough question actually. shes an arab so its a beige, mixed race type but...im useless at this. but yeah id say shes about the same skin as that morrocan from the sugarbabies.......shes partial to experimenting with her make up.....well that was 2 years ago so maybe shes a hardcore make up conservative now. much appreciated for the replies....ill be on your cases in future for anything feminine

  • 1 month later...

Quick question How long does it take for eyelashes to grow back after theyve been ripped out, and do they grow back and look how they did originally?I had some AWFUL eyelash extensions done last week, they looked ridiculous and were so uncomfortable and in my line of vision so i went to get them removed, the woman doing it put a tiny bit of the remover on them and just yanked them off, taking half my eyelashes with it :(I had nice long thick eyelashes before so im kind of kicking myself for even doing it because it wasnt necessary, but whats done is done and i am so worried they are going to stay like this forever!!!!
